It's all down to personal preference... Yes, I've said it again.. LOL

The only way you are going to know how it is for you, is to try both. You can decide after that!
Me? I prefer duals. I use both but since, to me, singles taste burnt quickly, I generally stay with the duals.

Thanks for the info.

I have really enjoyed the dual coils that come with the artemas tank. I would assume they are smok tek. Locking carto tanks are amazing in my opinion. Very easy and no troubleshooting.

I tried to quit before using novas, atty's, bottom coils and cheap clearomizers and found that none of them did it for me or that they did but needed a lot of maintenance or would leak or have other issues.

I'm super exited that I found a device and a juice I can vape all day. Today was my 11th day without smoking!!!

I tried a bog carto a friend of mine was using and that thing produced literal clouds of vapor.

I think I'm going to try those next but I don't think they make them flanged. I will probably wait to try those with an AGR tank. I hate the tanks that don't lock.

I recently switched to lockable carto tanks and used both the single and dual coil Smoktech cartos. I like them both but have to give the edge to the dual coil cartos, the flavor and vapor are definitely a step up (in my opinion) as compared to single coil. My single coil cartos are 2.5Ohm and dual coil are 1.5Ohm. Vape 60/40 RY4.

I prefer DC too cause of the taste, but as other people say its by preference.

Update,

I found a flanged boge single coil 1.6 - 2 ohm carto for my locking artemas tank.

I liked the DC smoktek carto but I thought they were very inconsistent. One would be great, another would flood and then the last one I had ran really dry and would burn (all were properly primed).

I got the boges today. The first thing I noticed was that there was less filler fiber in it because there is only one coil so there is a deeper gap in between where the drip tip goes and the filler starts. Makes sense though as there is only one coil.

I primed it with the 50/50 juice I'm using and tried it out.

I just got the boges so only have one days experience but so far it's pretty good. It makes HUGE amounts of vapor (i think noticeably more than the smoktek) and the flavor is great.
It doesn't run too wet or dry this one is drawing the juice in perfectly. The only draw back I guess I would say is the vape is a bit cooler as the coil is closer to the base now. If this were a standard size cart instead of the xl flanged type I think it would be warmer. (I may try a locking AGR tank next)

I think the trade off for now is worth it though if all the boges work like this then I am a fan.

Thanks for the suggestions!
