"Deborah, I lost one of those magnet thingies and the thing you stick in your mouth." What the heck? Okay, I can see a magnet popping out but how does one lose the drip tip? This will be my most inexpensive purchase from Rob.

Since I'm placing an order, can someone tell me the difference between 32 and 28 gauge wire? I'm currently using 32 gauge.

The 28 gauge wire is quite a bit thicker (less bendable) and lower ohms....it'll take more wraps to get up to the ohms you want. The 32 gauge wire is thinner, way more bendable, and higher ohms....it'll take fewer wraps to get up to the resistance you want. A lot of people like the 30 gauge wire (right in the middle) ....especially for some of the micro coils. I tried the 28 gauge and found it a little too stiff for my liking, but it's a personal preference. Here's a handy chart: Resistance Wire (ohms/in)

Great...that's exactly what I needed to know. I'm going to stick with the 32 wire -- why mess with what works (for me).

The 28g is stiffer for sure, but it allows more wraps per ohm. I used 30g for mos until I tried 28g & now 28 is all I've been using. You might like more wraps better or maybe not. It might be worth playing with if you like to fiddle, but I understand if you don't. There are several other gauges that I haven't tried just because I'm content w/my current set-up.

BTW, I think it's awesome that your sis is sticking w/it. I wish my daughter would.

Bought her some extra magnets and drip tips (she liked the black one better than my collection of SS and Trippy Tip). I'm sticking with the 32g.

No she doesn't. I got a a K-go kit & some vision clearos for her to try & see if she cared for vaping. She doesn't use em. I'd get her a Reo in a heartbeat if I thought she'd give it a halfway decent try, but she doesn't like mine so I don't think it would work. It's weird cause she's very resistive toward most any vaping stuff. I'm gonna keep working on her & praying tho.

HRH used to be the same and was inseperable from her beloved eVic until she saw JC Okie's mod at a vapemeet we went to. From that time on she plagued me for a mini and i have now bought her 2 of them.

She has not used the Evic in about 8 weeks now apart to measure coils i have made for her and seems very pleased with her haul!

I never got on at all with her devices and i consider it a personal insult that they turn off after a 10 second drag, because i am a grown man and am quite capable of deciding for myself what constitutes a good vape!
