Just saw a msg that said I could not access this page due to:

I either was a new member and can not post outside the new member area.
A new member and my account had to be activated.
I was banned by the admins.

After refreshing 3 times it finally let me in. Just an FYI.

I believe Alex is in the process of rebuilding the database at the moment. This can always make an error or two pop up.

On the upside, he just re-added Blogs, and now we have an even better Facebook login! Some of you may know that I absollutely hated the old Facebook Connect... but I like the new one. That's how much better it is.

Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to making our site more user-friendly!!

I'm seeing it through Firefox with W7 just fine.

Actually better because the width of the posts are now fitting in my screen much nicer.
Very eye-friendly for me. Don't even have to use Ctrl+!!

Firefox is having intermittent problems connecting, however.

Can't wait for the changes to be put back in place, the "Today's Post" screen is so busy.

And while we're changing things, can you remove the little page icon that shows up wasting the first line of everybody's post? It was there in the old version too but does not seem to have any function other than to make my page longer.

Wait.... Today's Posts works correctly?

The post title? uhhh we'll get to that soonish (again) #TODO

Yes I know it's old and I'll probably be screwed using this new forum on that, but I have to use it for work purposes. If this is the issue, don't worry about ir. Sounds like my problem.

The Ctrl + thing I know works on FF, for IE, you may have to go to view--->zoom to get it to enlarge

Compared to other forum upgrades I have seen this one is going very smooth We are lucky to have experienced such a short outage.

Just FYI, it has been my experience in the past that many times some information doesn't make the cross over in an upgrade. I notice many people asking about the my posts function. people should just be prepared in case it doesn't port over from our activity before the installation. just my 2cents.

I saw the two new dark skins/styles. The default sking is not working well for me, a few glitches here and there. How is going the upgrade? Is this (default) the new default theme for the forum?

Nope just something that won't blind me while I fix the more important issues (Themes and Skins is at the bottom of the list being cosmetic and all)

Any answer for this yet. I know the posts in "my posts" will be back but does that mean out old my posts will return?

It's there, but only shows the posts I've made since the change.

Mine works fine.... HOWEVER, I did have it bookmarked (before the change) and am using that. I have not tried the new version, but the old one is still working and shows up as a new version page.

Not only are we going to be re-adding the skins (Kirsch and Black&Blue... or at least something similar to them), I am looking at having a few more added, as well.

I think it's a great way to kick off our new forum... new skins!

Definitely. And the new dark ones are better than the old dark one. :thumb:

Thanks for saving my eyes guys :D
