Well, I have now been smoke free for 6 years as of today! I only have 30 more to catch up to my years of smoking.

Has it been easy? Sometimes, no. Mostly yes though, because I was willing to try something different now and then.

Took almost a month of dual-use in the beginning, and some high nic (48mg that first two months). By the second month, I was making my own eliquid and modifying my clearos and carts. Within 4 months, I was making my own mods (anyone remember my speed stick mod? I think I made that one later though..).

When I started, the FDA was being a pain. Actually, I don't think they've ever stopped being pain. But I am set, ready to go!

Congrats and well done! I, too, was into DIY juice by my second month (and I think that was a significant part of my early vaping success as I prefer unflavored or lighly flavored liquid over the rather heavily flavored commercial liquids). Haven't gotten around to building a mod yet (but I do plan on a simple wooden squonker one of these days).

Cheers and here's to another 6 years! :toast:

Good job bud. Have you bought a car yet with the savings?

Tools, enclosures, epoxies, 510's, PG, VG, Nic, Toppers, Mods, 1 Jeep Cherokee Laredo, 1 Nissan something or another... And the toppers and mods for the wife. Next month is her 6th year!!!

Congrats, the FDA just makes us vapers more determined to get around their tobacco money driven proposals. I'm glad they are still there moaning and groaning, I like to look back years ago about their ridiculous threats and look at smart world class countries/societies thumbing their noses at the FDA.

Congrats!
I'm looking at my 10th anniversary next January. I've been vaping on and off for several reasons but yeah, it changed my life for ever. One thing I noticed is that I need the tobacco alcaloids. Whenever I can get my hands on some of that juice I stop smoking instantly.

Congrats on your 6 years. Feels great, don't it. Back in the 'early days' we almost had to make our own ejuice. Not many juice makers around then and what you could get was questionable or down right awful......
:toast: Here is to many many more years to come......

:)
