Glas mod? What is your favorite mod if I may ask?

This guy here. Stingray copper. Though it's quite the little get-around mod. By that, I mean the Patriot on it in the pic has not been on it for a while. I toss different attys on it when I feel the urge. Attys of low class such as an authentic igo-w5 go on it.

Like I said, I am on a copper thing, and the only mod I currently own that isn't copper is my Hana. Daily go-to mods (that go to work with me/everywhere else also) are Hana and K.S.S. while the Stingray sits it's fragile ....(on) on my desk all day and comes out when I go to B&M or when I am out with friends.

As for Glas, they really aren't my thing. Good looking mods, I hear they perform well, although even if they made them in copper I am not sure I would pay what they go for; nor am I looking to be in a 'circle of exclusivity' just to get my name on a list to get one.

Beautiful mod my friend. Good taste might I add [emoji106]. I also own a Vaporwall Nemesis (old engravings) and a Nemesis Legion (New engravings). But I fancy the Skeleton Key much more because of it's quality and originality. I do love my Nemesis and they see their quality time when I host a couple vape house BBQ's but the Skeleton Keys are my daily uses.

vape house BBQ? Do explain. Even though you are kinda far from here.... Good BBQ has taken me further places.

Seems like everyone I run into has a nemesis or a 4nine or a this or a that these days... lol

Once in a while i'll gather some friends and we'll BBQ everything from steaks, hot dogs, carne asada, salmon, korean, etc. if its meant for the open fire, it's present at my house lol. Everyone brings what they can (food and vape) and just have a good time.

Yeah almost everyone will start off with either a Nemesis, king mod or 4nine for that matter. Easily obtainable mods, widely available. Especially when there are clones available which is most of the time. But authentically they are never out of stock to date.

I likes food and vape... I wish more of my friends liked vape. Then I could take that idea and run with it!

That's cuz if you know how to use it (know what atty to pair with it), the 4nine is A-mazing..

And the nemesis is the most&first mass cloned mod...and it was the cream of the vaping world when it came out...and most mods have imitated it.. I don't own one though..I figured that would be too much of a cliche for me to have a matte SS and brass accented nemesis..and a couple friends have authentics. Good enough for me.:)

You should check out gus mods... great mods, and very fair pricing..the estia is expensive, but omg..

My IPV2 also has been very awesome since I put the sigelei taj ji on it..

Edit- the authentic 4nine isn't being made anymore..they're producing the prime now, typical spring switch. I hope their solid tube version is the same as the 4nine/floating negative battery contact.

I'll begin by admitting I made a mistake by arguing with elitists.

Well, no, I don't think you got to my point at all.... My point was that we are nobody to judge what others do.

If you didn't work for someone else's money, you really have no say in how they spend it.

The only retort I'll have is I never said I was telling someone "Dont buy a legit piece". I gave why I dont, but backed it up as to why someone who is considering getting a legitimate piece should invest.

Its like how you say "Invest in this" when I dont see a return. Likewise, a Japanese male my age may not see the same investment potential in investing in a old beat up pickup truck. (I picked the first country with the smallest land size, not picking on japan for any particular reason.)

Your post raises two points, one of which is not on point nor has anything to do with vaporizers but I'll state it anyways lol

1.). You actually make the point of why to get authentic by your own post and didn't even realize it. To each their own. Not everyone who buys authentic is in it to get a return. Buying authentic is also about supporting the designers and people who put the time in to figure out the actual mechanics. Some are rather beautiful and the function is well above any clone no matter how much someone says it is 1:1.

2.) this point assumes you mod your truck. Not sure how you figure you will get a better return on it in the future rather than an authentic mod. I have been into modding/customizing vehicles for 20 years and still am. I learned very early on that you will get no where near what you put into the vehicle upon its sale. You can de-mod it but won't get more than 70% (at best but usually closer to 55-65%) of the individual cost of each mod, and that is of the mod is in great condition (unless you find an unsuspecting buyer who knows nothing about the resale value of used performance car parts...which is rare if you are actually in the "scene."). Further, most people are actually weary of purchasing a modded vehicle for much more than resale of an unmodded vehicle. Reason is two fold: one, modding a vehicle is very individualized. What you like and how you do it does not always mesh with potential buyers' tastes. Second, trade in value of a modded vehicle is lower because resellers are weary of the person who did the customization and how the vehicle was treated during it's modded period. My credentials: 03 Harley Davidson/ford truck supercharged with built engine topped with a 2.3 whipple putting down 570rwhp/630rwtq; 04 mercury marauder with an 03 terminator engine topped with ported eaton putting down 500/530 to the rear wheels; 05 Lincoln aviator with competition winning custom sound system; 2010 BMW M5 V10 supercharged that does low 10s in the quarter mile and will break the tires loose at 90 mph...many a lambo and Ferrari owners have shocked looks on their faces when a 4 door sedan is keeping up with them at 180mph.

Just my 2 cents.

1: Again, to reiterate, I never said "Mod makers are evil", I just feel theyre inflating the price of a metal tube and thats why I dont buy it. I didnt say "Dont buy a nemesis because atomixani is charging 200$ for a brass tube and switch" I just said "I dont buy it cuz I dont think its worth it."

2: No mods to the truck, just like my old beater. And considerign I paid 700$ for the truck and have 400 so far invested in it, if I sold it for 2000, its a good healthy return. And by investing, New shocks, New tie rod ends, ball joints, u joints, etc. Just because I say "Invest" doesnt mean "Give it 6000 horse power". Now that beign siad I DO have a 82 s10 project for racing, but thats a slow project for time and money. Nope, gotta keep my 94 sonoma drivable for working to pay for my vape gear and other fun expenses ^^

long story short, Please dont take a hostile view because I refuse to pay 200$ for a metal tube. I'm not saying its not worth it, I'm just saying I dont see it worth ME buying. For MY circumstances, its better for ME to put that 200$ into a new fuel pump so I can keep MY job and buying ME more stuff and paying MY bills ^^

Clear nuff?

Are you implying that I did not know how to use my 4nine?

The mod itself had more than one fail point. With more than one atomizer. MINE was a pain in the .... to maintain because of it's issues. I had multiple people with more experience with ecigs and mods in general than myself look at it and every time they did the same cleaning and maintenance that I was. They too tried different atomizers on it.

When it worked, it worked well with many atomizers in my small collection. It just didn't work enough of the time to my likings. So I ditched it.

ETHNiix, I like your style.

Did you have the male or female versions?

BBQ is not a verb nor a noun, nor an adjective. It is a lifestyle.

What do you mean by male or female version?

The male (ss, brass top and button), female (brass, ss top and button... when you have two alloys part of a circuit, especially when they're contacts for the circuit, you get galvanic corrosion...inhibiting the performance..can eventually cause the mod to fully stop working..

But most all the crappy adjustable 510s I have on attys end up leaking..not good for the 4nine.

After using it for one day, I fell in love with the Skeleton key, but I daily use all my mechs. I literally take two or three mechs with different builds and attys and juice with me daily, plus my Reo. The Skeleton Key is not for me as a Daily, it is too nice and beautiful. So it would just sit. So that's why it's listed on ebay right now.
