Hey,

I don't keep up with vspe life like I use and everything is moving so fast I feel lost.

What some food choices for batteries. I hear all vtc5s might be fake and thst Sony subcontracted out all there vtc4s. Just repeating what I read in one spot.

Just looking for good all around 18650. I have used aw IMRs before. Seem nothing special except they seem to have decent lifetime of charges before they go bad and never really had a bad one.

Used the efests- has been kinda weird. Some seem good. Some seem iffy. Cld be in my head.

I have 2 flat top vtc4s (claim to be at least) And these are pretty solid.

I usually buy minimum of 20 amps even though I rarely if ever need that much especially factoring in pulse rate.

I like a battery that has a healthy mah rating. Hate changing out batteries and ring now my mods only have a single bay.

Would like an option for best bang for the buck and maybe a premo option but will probably lean towards decent battery for buck. Thanks so much.

Oh and do I need these ? What is this for ? Battery Terminal Protector for 18650 (Flat Top, Black) (20 Pack) - PV Devices, Drivers, & Accessories

Thanks all. I know there are tons of threads on this. Everything changes so fast and people seem to chime in that really don't know. And it ends up being a 20-30 min adventure to find useful info.

Thanks much family.

I was in the same situation as you a week ago. After all my research my opinion is you can't go wrong with either samsung 25r, lg he4 or he2.
You can find some tests on youtube and the net where a detailed comparison can be seen. All three are very close by performance, though he4 heats up less than he2 on high amps.
My initial choice was 25R, but i ended up with HE4. Completely happy with them for now, but i haven't had them long enough for issues to actually appear.
The issue with sony is that i don't trust any supplier that ECF does not recommend not to flog me fakes, while LG and Samsung are most likely going to be authentic.
If you don't need more than 20A i'd recommend the ones that Thrasher suggested.
