I had been smoking for over 30 years before I discovered vaping. For me it was more gradual, I would start off with the real thing in the morning, then vape, back and forth.

Then I found that I was vaping more than smoking and one day, I smoked my last and was vaping 100%. After about a couple of weeks of nothing but vaping I tried one of the analogs and after 2 drags I thought I was going to be ill. Except for that one time, I have been vaping for almost 5 months now and have not looked back!

Entry #2:
I started smoking about 25 yrs. ago. I guess I smoked about 15 yrs. in that time. I quit for a good amount of time a few times... seems pretty stupid that I'd start again after being smoke free for years, but that's what I did. I've been vaping, and smoke free, for a bit over a year. The transition was quick and easy, and I'm very sure that I'm done with tobacco completely (aside from trying my hand at brewing up my own tobacco juice).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SPACEKITTY!

Entry #1 - Tell us how you found out about the ECF and how long you have been a Member... you can also include what it means to you, or how it has helped you out... or even if it hasn't.

I found ECF through Google when I started my research before purchasing my first ecig. Lurked for a couple weeks, then became a member in July to gain additional clarity with a few questions I had. I've been hanging around here since. ECF is AMAZING in finding the answers to any questions, to read and troubleshoot any issues, and to get the scoop on the latest gear and juice! ECF is primarily responsible for my vaping experience being as phenomenal as it is....because without it, I'd likely be still vaping on the gear and with the juices I could only get locally.

Entry #2 - Let us know how long you had been a Smoker before finding out about ecigs... and how long you have been Vaping... or if you are still having trouble making the switch.

I smoked for about 22 years....vaping for 2 months. Absolutely NO problem making the switch....it was AWESOME!!! Not a single craving for an analog since!

My wife and (then 19yr old) son wanted me to get them those "free ecigs" they heard about from the interwebs. So I searched BING and found that "free" was equal to $126. So after a bit more searching, I found ecf.

I learned alot from ecf in just the first few hours. I knew I wanted the kGo and RIVA with cartos, so I joined and asked about ejuices. Many of the replies are still among my favorite flavors.

When I got my wife and son's kits (some 16 months ago), I had no trouble with vaping. Three days later I got in some new dual coil cartos. With those I never smoked another ciggy. My son quit smoking altogether after a couple months of vaping and smoking. He had to find his flavor (turns out to be Koolaid).

My wife is still stuggling to quit the difficult habit. She has trouble inhaling vapor without coughing. I have her set up with a lower nic and a dessert/coffee flavor that she likes, but she is still having trouble.

Thanks for the contest sk!

I found ECF in 2009 when I first heard about E-cigs and was looking for reviews. At the time DSE901's where the best you could get. ended up ordering a bunch from China and selling them. Ended up taking a break from vapping and selling e-cigs for a couple years. I really wish I would have kept up with e-cig tech. I would have been one of the big vendors by now... LOL
I'll save the rest for my next entry.
Thanks for the contest

Entry #1 - if I should win I want the prize to go to Grammakittycat. :)

I started vaping in January 2010 when a friend in Iraq asked me to get him an e-cig and send it to him. So I was intrigued and got myself 1 too. I was referred to ECF by a juice vendor. Apparently I was driving him nuts with questions and after a few polite answers he sent me a link and said anything you need to know is here. I've been a member of ECF since June 2010. I love ECF and PIF. Not only have I made some wonderful friends, I've also been able to help a few people on their vaping journey. But best of all I met my lovely wife Jazz here on ECF :)
Happy birthday SK and (thanks to vaping) many many more :)

1. I found efc after doing a considerable amount of research on why my mother couldnt vape at all. She just couldnt inhale the vapor with out coughing. After hours and days of searching ecf, I found the perfect set up for her.
Turns out she cant handle the heat. Thank you ecf for helping my mother!

Thanks for the contest also!

I smoked for 20 years before I finally totally quit with e-cigs. In 09 I had almost quit using a DSE901 I was only having a random analog. But I ended up smoking again because I had a coworker that decided that since I didn't need to go outside to smoke.:confused:I didn't need to take breaks and left me to do all the work while she went out and smoked like half a pack at a time. :glare: I timed here one day and she MAYBE worked 4 hours out of an 8 hour shift. I got so feed up with her one day I bought A pack of Cigs went out side and smoked half a pack
Then a Friend started bringing around his MODS and let me try them. I was amazed at how much had changed. I went online shopping and bought an E-power. Since I had to wait for it to ship I went a got a cigalike from walmart so I could get started right away :vapor: and haven't looked back since.:)

Entry #2.

I smoked analogs for over 26 years. I tried many time, with many different methods, to quit. On August 12,2012 my wife and I were checking out at Wal-Mart and she saw a display for Mistic e-cigs and made me buy one. I went home and charged the batt...and that was it...I was hooked. I always left my analogs in my car, as I have never smoked in the house, and I did finish them my first week of vaping but only because I forgot to charge the Mistic batt and needed something on my way to work and while the batt was charging...4 hours on the usb charger plugged into my work computer. My friend who turned me on to this site also suggested that I get ab ego passthrough, which I did, and there is no way I will ever be going back to smoking now.
