Has anyone else noticed that the SLB atomizers simply don't burn as hot as the standard Joye 510 ones? I ordered 5 of them while on sale from Vapor Country and noticed immediately that the inside looked different relative to the bridge, etc. I am struggling to get a throat hit now using these new attys. Any thoughts on something I can do to make them perform better? Thanks!

I originally posted this over in Vapor Country, but think I should have posted it here instead. Any advice would be appreciated!!

Hmm, asleep at the wheel?

Sailbo is now selling a 510? When did I miss that one?

LOL....you've been asleep at the wheel for a while! Did you wake up with a long beard like Rip Van Winkle? :p

Actually, I'm not sure exactly how long it's been....but the news and talk about it has only been during the past 3-ish weeks.

Nah, just an old goat-tee ;)

Found the thread from ssrob/vaporkings regarding the 510 clone shortly after I posted.

I recall 1st hearing about 510's with the washer in the base around the bridge much longer than 3 weeks past. Quite a stink at the time. What I certainly did miss was that they are made by Sailbo! Ah me...

I certainly wish our beloved vendors would simply be up front with what they offer for purchase. Many are, too many aren't.

Is the atomizer bridge larger?
Is there a big ring at the bottom blocking your view into the atomizer?

If so, then it sounds like you may have one of the "new" atomizers that were going around.
There is a thread about them somewhere in the Innovapor subforum.

I have some of these "new" atomizers and they work as you describe.
They run much cooler, seem to produce a bit less vapor, and much less throat hit.
They might have a bit more flavor though.

Yes, they are exactly that style. The new style. I am doing a little better now. Yes, I was using a brand new battery with it. It does seem it was a breaking in thing as it is hitting better now. I never experienced that break in period with the standard joye ones. Thanks for the help!

can anyone with those SLB510 measure the resistance of the atomizer, please?

i know that joye/some other are at ~2.1 - 2.4 ohms according to my meter.
don't just tell the value you got from measuring the atomizer, subtract the meters internal resistance.

i just wish to know if they are really more in the range of the 901. ;)
