Hey guys,

Personally I believe aesthetics is very important--a very close second to vape quality. Also looking for a backup that is more durable than the Vision Eternity. That loose post is finally making me anxious.

Does anyone know of a good seamless rba for the Twist that looks as good and performs as well as the Eternity? At least some good looking thread covers for smaller RBAs like the IGO-S? I have been considering the IGO-S but I'm just not a big fan of those ugly carto-tank thread covers. I'm not a fan of genesis atomizers so the mini-DID or anything like it is out of the picture. My last resort is going to be an IGO-S with the MM Vapors eGo threads.

Cheers,
Abe

Hey, 04stinugget and Lessifer, thanks for the replies. I really appreciate your help.

04stinugget: I like the form factor but no genesis RBAs for me. I just don't want the liability of quick leakage on my backup. I might be horizontal for prolonged periods of time.

Lessifer: That's a beautiful looking setup! How many drops has it been holding for you? How solid are the positive/negative posts?

Cheers!

Posts seem pretty solid, I actually tried to turn one and couldn't, though I didn't use too much force. One thing about the v3 is the coil goes in the top of the post, Not sure how much I like that. The v2 has standard posts, but doesn't look as cool IMO.

I just got this Monday and am still fiddling with it, but it holds about 15 drops before it will start leaking out of the air hole, possible more if you put more wick in the well.

Thanks, Lessifer, this RBA looks solid and 15 drops is very good. Didn't know they had dedicated eGo thread covers (only saw the on Discount Vapers)! I'm going to have to try it out. My Eternity seems solid, but one of the posts just keeps moving and I can't figure out a good way to put a seal on it. No extreme leaking yet, but the capacity is definitely not what was advertised (30 drops). The air hole obviously is too low to actually meet the claims.

Any other suggestions?

Cheers!

A phoenix rba looks nice on a silver twist. If you do not mind dripping that is

I know a vivi nova doesn't fall really under the category rebuildable, but you can rebuild a coil if wanted, you hae a mini version and you can get the tank in any color you want, even silver/alu

Like mentioned above smok one seems nice (haven't gotten mine yet, but I ordered one)

my a7-oid with hybrid wick. Hasn't leaked with in 2 weeks of HEAVY use, but it's time for a cleaning and I don't know what to do :-/

ps. sometimes when I really fill the carto up I actually suck up some extra juice for the first drag or two. Still haven't seen a wet connector yet.

How does that one work?, you just put the eliquid around the tip? where the wool is? Also is there liquid any good?

I have the phoenix/rainbow V3 also. I drilled my hole out to 1/16. Make my coil around a 9/64 drill bit, wick is cheese cloth. 12-18 drops if its dry. I rewet with 7-8 usually. Screws on side of posts. Holes in top of post. Makes it real easy to recoil. I really like mine. The larger air hole made a huge difference also. had mine over a month. it was my main delivery system until i got my Igo-l. its still going strong.

I use a white/clear, very thin oring so the sleeve doesnt rattle. On some of my ego it wont screw down far enough to hold it tight. others it will. You cant really see its there though.

I dunno how to explain, but yeah you fill up the wool, the rope soaks it up, and there's a well for liquid and since there's a raised air hole its really hard to drip down into the connector. The extra juice would get soaked back up as I tilt. My juice is DIY Exotic Fruit Blend, very clear with a very light blue/purple tint in the light. I see it in the wicks but not the bottle. I call it #3. I bought the a7 because some of my TFA flavors have triactin and I didn't want to ruin a carto tank.

edit, I wrapped the rope with some mesh because its really hard for me to coil around rope by hand without breaking it. I don't know where to find screw small/long enough to wrap a tiny coil.

I just rinsed it out, brushed with an old toothbrush, rinsed again, and its back to normal :)

I will probably try wicking with one long rope coil/leg up to the wool and a smaller one down into the well. It's easy to twist in the long rope after I fill, but sometimes I have to bend the smaller leg inwards with my thumb :/
I'd really like to not "have to touch" the wick after a fill.

The A7 looks really nice on an eGo. Sits flush with the outer diameter.

But I have a good A7 and a POS garbage one, so hit or miss on quality. Its been months since I purchased mine though so maybe they fixed the quirks.

Shame too as the garbage one was the black chrome, looked very nice on the stock black eGo. I don't have an SS ego battery but I'm willing to bet the SS A7 would look just as clean on it.

Check out http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/392191-simple-hints-tips-tricks-vapers-save-time-money.html. Using alcohol and dry-burning will clean it up REAL good. If you're cleaning the RBA itself, just soak it in some vodka or boil it.

Cheers!

Hey guys, thanks for all of the recommendations, I really appreciate it!

The thing is, I'm looking for something that looks like it totally belongs on the Twist, like the Eternity or Phoenix V3 with thread covers. That genny looks really good, but I'm too much of a silica nut to tolerate any leaking when my PV is full and sideways.

Cheers!

Can't go wrong with the A7. Super easy to set up and doesn't leak. Better flavor than the phoenix imo because of the bottom air feed, and better quality being all ss instead of chrome. Also it's 14mm diameter will look great on an ego w/ a thread cover. Plus if you get the ELA, the adjustable draw cap should work well with it! That's what I'll be rocking on mine when it gets here.
