Sleeve ideas for my new eVic..?

Hello fellow ECF members!

It's been a full day since I got my Ovale eVic and I'm very satisfied with it so far (No analogs since my first vape!)

I'm afraid I'll drop it or scratch it with my rings (I wear a ring or two all the time).

I feel like I need to get something to protect it, either a leather sleeve or a transparent decal or something. I'm already thinking of making a sleeve out of an old leather jacket if I can't find anything to protect it.

Any ideas?

It won't be cheap but.

Yeah, I drop my Provari all the time. I got it in stainless. There's no finish to get chipped or scratched.

I never saw the point in putting a finish on metal that is softer than the metal....unless you just have to have it in purple.

I actually found that website through google after I created this thread. I'd rather just make one myself and be able to improvise and choose the material(s) I like and save myself some money (plus, it'll feel different when it's a sleeve I made myself)

It is slipperier than I expected.

It is VERY slippery, very soft finish.. It's really nice to the touch but it keeps me trying to "be gentle with it" all the time.. Can't leave it on a plain wood table (put it over a book), can't leave it in the cup holder in my car (it'll get scratched if it rolls around), etc..

I'll probably put one of my old jackets to use in a few hours and see what I can come up with..

We need the manufacturers of APVs to create holsters/sleeves for these things.. O__o

There's a few things you could do.

Start at the end and go backwards - its a long thread.

Vapor Skins do a black carbon fibre cover for the eVic:

Or you might buy some carbon fibre or another wrap yourself.
