Sligh tarnishing

Hi All

I have noticed that an area on the ring surrounding the button is beginning to tarnish - how can I get rid of this?

I did my SB last night with brasso and it's gleaming again now, I think you can also get aluminium polish in Halfords

I would have thought Silvo would be as good as any?

But also there are numerous aluminium polishes on the market, mainly intended for use with cars and bikes etc. Here's one for example -
Briliant ALUMINIUM & STAINLESS steel polish 150ml

Maybe someone could recommend a good aluminium polish available in the UK?

But make sure you do not use a product like 'Barkeeper's Friend', as although a great household surface cleaner, it has slight abrasive qualities to it, even affecting the polished surface of a much harder material like stainless steel.
