Hello all! My story is little different in terms of how came into vaping. First off I am 41 years old, I have somewhat bad Asthma but it's controlled and I was dipping tobacco up until a month ago since I was 15 years old. I switch to Swedish Snus (General brand only) as way to try and quit dipping. I found it hard to replace the habit of having the dip in my lower lip and the spitting etc. A friend brought his drunken impulse purchase of an Aspire Atlantis + CF Sub Ohm battery. I was immediately fascinated with the tech involved and how he was using to quit cigarettes. He knows I'm a dipper and suggested I give it a try. I was reluctant because of my history with Asthma, the fact that I have never smoked tobacco, and didn't think it could replace the habit of dipping. Boy was I wrong! I finally gave it a try and surprisingly after several days it did not affect my Asthma at all and I enjoyed the relaxing feeling I was getting from overall act vaping. So I jumped in head first, did some research online and started to get a little overwhelmed. I found a local B&M named Nixteria (formerly Juicy Vapor) and their excellent and knowledgeable staff had me out the door with a Kanger Subtank + an Aspire CF Mod and a bottle of their Ecto Plasma with 2mg of nic. I've since picked up a Kanger Subtank Mini + eLeaf iStick 30W and I am currently vaping on both with different flavors and one having the 1.2 Ohm head and the other the .5 Ohm head. I've zero problems with either setup and I do prefer the ease of use and control of the iStick 30W and the pre-built heads in the Kanger subtanks. I don't foresee ever become a dripper or getting into making my own coils but I'm not ruling it out. I like to keep things simple. I am now 100% done with dipping as of a month ago but still occasionally use the Snus when I cannot vape. Maybe one day I can be fully rid of tobacco for good. Sorry, I'm rambling on here but that's my story as different as it may be.
some of us around here like to term it as TABACCO HARM REDUCTION, or in simple terms,, just plain fun.. welcome and congrats on the journey to freedom from that stuff.
