I have been a faithful Smokeless Image customer for around a month now. Spent a nice chunk of change and they haven't disappointed me yet (Well, only one of my 3 batteries has a decent LED... The green one only lights up half and the purple one is very faint. Blue is bright and perfect!)

I absolutely loved their new larger batteries, as my current set up is perfect for being portable, but I wanted something bigger and with better performance for at-home use. BUT, no choice on the Manual battery's LED. I wanted a red or something to be a little different (I was told it was orange, but that's just too plain and I'm willing to wait).

So, for my current batteries, I wanted to try out some clearomizers (Much like the ones Smokeless Image offers, but smaller so the can be portable!).

I've had a lot of trouble finding a decent brand or place to purchase them... I have carto's/atty's down, but clearomizers/tanks are something I'm just getting in to.

One major clearomizer model I've seen is the G4, which I believe is one of the newest types, correct?

So does anyone know a good vendor to get these from? I just want a simple 5-pack to test them out (I have enough carto's to last a solid month or two) and go from there.

Thanks!

Is that a decent model and everything?

I'm just not so sure how well these will work with Smokeless Image products... I've heard of some compatibility issues with other brands.

Thanks for the link, I'll check it out!

Edit- All right, I e-mailed them some quick questions so hopefully I get an answer soon! Thanks again!

they should be compatible... but be careful they have a tendency to crack and leak

Well.

So, clearomizers are ok, but I like my carto's, too.

But dang, did I abuse a couple of batteries, a carto and about 3ml of a new flavor I got tonight. Good thing it was 0 nic, because I marathoned for a few hours on that stuff. Would it be better in a clearomizer? Maybe. But the one I have has a different 0 nic marathon vape in it. :p So, love my batteries, all of them, 65-78-X2. But I love my carts more than the clearomizer - I think. Jury still out, but yum on 100% VG Butterscotch! Loved the vape with my 78s, but I think I want a little more flavor, so I can give up a bit of huge amount of vapor I was getting. Regardless, I am sooooo hooked on Smokeless Image products.

Emma, if you ever stop over here, just know that it is your fault to pointing me over to SI. Thank you.

Oooh - I wouldn't use those. Been there, done that, refused to buy the T-shirt. :(

You can use the clearomizers on the standard batteries. I do! ;)

I promised myself I wasn't going to spend even more money, but I think this may be one of my last orders for at least a few weeks!

It'll be good to get some practice in before I get one of the 1300mah batteries... Those things are MASSIVE. Can't wait!

I've been told to convert over to other styles (510, for example) and all that, but Smokeless Image has produced too good of products to convert anywhere else. Besides the LED light issues, it's been 100% fantastic.

Hey matkohl71, remember me? From over on the other thread? Rave, up there, right above you, is the person I told you about that uses the SI clearomizers on the 78s. She posted a picture earlier in the week in another thread. If you're nice to her, maybe she'll post the pic for you. :)

Yes I believe I found that picture! It's not a big deal the way it looks anyways, as I'll be using the tanks solely for home use (I have the PCC so... cartomizers until they get some great clearomizer products out there!).

Also I got an e-mail back from libertyflights and he flat out told me that MANY people were very unsatisfied with the G4 clearomizer and they won't be getting any more in.

Glad to see the honesty of their business... May have to pick something up from them just as a little thank you!

Quite a few of us here, including me, converted to 808 from 510. I tried the G4 on 510 last year and I'm one of those LF mentioned that were dissatisfied. I bought two 5 packs and altogether only had one that lasted long enough to be refilled once. Didn't have any leaking issues but they just stopped producing. The last one I checked was at 4.0 ohms after a tank of fairly thick juice. I see they only have them in 808 now. The idea of a bottom coil with no filler in more or less standard size is great. Hope somebody starts selling something like that that actually works soon but G4 isn't it.
ETA I always found LF to be an honest, reputable company. They were the first I ordered from and I always got great service from them. They come close in that respect to SI. If they had had something like the Volt I probably wouldn't be typing in here right now.

And if/when SI does come out with a smaller (1.0, 1.2 ml) Clearo for the regular 65-78mm batts, I will be all over them like green on grass!!! :thumb:

Myself as well!

I just ordered 15 blank cartomizers, and a single clearomizer to try it out.

Now if only Smokeless Image would come out with a larger style battery that could be Variable Voltage or a higher volt power, I seriously would never even consider any other company.

I'm always going to need portability, so the PCC with 78mm batteries will always be involved (Even if I get a ProVari or something similar!). So if they can further evolve the e-cig product, I am completely on board to support that!

I'm with you on that. I like my Volts very very much, but I LOVE a slightly warmer (cough:4.2volt:cough) vape. :)
