@misterholidayhouse -

Do you know what percentage was used in your Pistachio/RY4 mix? I expect to order both the Pistachio and the Pistachio Pudding flavors to play with, but I think I'd insert them into RY4 at about 20% to start out with..

I have no idea. I just asked them to ad Pistachio or Pistachio Pudding as an ad on. They went with Pistachio. It's funny because the day after I had given them that freedom I was sincerely hoping they would go with the pudding, as straight Pistachio may be a little harsh. It certainly is. I'll know if its the offending ingredient when I receive my straight RY4 next week.

Phew, this thread has been busy while I've been gone. My internet is down, at home for a bit, while I'm switching services. So I'll try to pop in when I can. I'm really sold on the Badger Grease now. The latest review on that flavor makes my mouth water. Drunken Turtle stinks? I wonder what makes it smell? Maybe the Kahlua. The black tea gives me an idea. I've been wanting a Sweet Tea flavor. Maybe if I just add sweetner to that, I'll find what I'm looking for. Sorry I didn't personally respond to everyone, but that's a lot of posts!

Just got my samples today. I tried to sniff the bottles but got very little scent. I shook them and am letting them steep. I hope they turn out good. Got Blue Raspberry, Monkey Fart, Bloody French, Drunken Turtle, Pink Starburst, Abra Cadabra, Badgers Grease and Berry Patch Honey. Anyone tried these flavors? Review?

I think your sweet tea idea is a good one, DK. Slim's has an Iced Tea (lightly sweetened black tea and a hint of lemon), and a couple other "fruited" teas too. I don't take lemon, myself, so I'd like to know how it works without. Maybe you could just add a comment asking to hold the lemon! Hope your 'Net gets sorted out soon.

What flavor strength/nic strength/blend did you get?

I got Badger Grease in my first order, and talked about it on pages 1 and 6. I liked it quite a bit, but not everybody does (looks @hurricanegirl100). I'll be waiting to hear what you think of your other choices, especially Bloody French and Drunken Turtle (which are on my to-do list). Monkey Fart looks interesting too!

I'm being good and letting them steep but I will post a review as soon as I sample them. I have a new dripping atomizer on order. I will start testing when it comes in. :)

@misterholidayhouse have you tried Vape Wild juices?

No and I doubt I do. I've read enough reviews to not be too interested. After my next order from Slim's arrives, that will be enough cheap juice in my collection for quite awhile. I have other juices from other vendors that are staples for me for several years now. Side excursions like this are to break the monotony and boredom. I've done this before from time to time. Maybe once or twice a year.. but always end up back with my steadies from Halo, HHV, AHL, Hurricane, 5P, and a couple others. Hopefully I don't sound like I'm coming off as snobbish. It's not like I'm a fan boy for the brands I mentioned. I only use and like one or maybe two flavors from any one of them. I just know what I like and for some reason it always ends up being $20+ per 30ml. ;-) Heck, I'm so predictable these days I order Halo Tribeca only on major holiday sales and I know exactly how many bottles to order. Tribeca is about 50% of my total juice consumption. Pretty boring stuff eh? That's why I enjoy an occasional foray into the unknown. This adventure is courtesy of Slim's, and of course you good folks here.

I'm very much the same way. One of my favs is AHL. I just ordered 30 different one since they have a 35% off sale going right now. It just shows up in your shopping cart. I've vaped 1 flavor for my ADV for 3 years. But I got some new equipment and was quite surprised when I found what I had been missing. With the new upgraded equip, iStick 40W and Coolfire IV, revealed was what I was missing. So many complex flavors that you don't get with egos and carto or clearos. So I have been on a search by sampling new vendors. I don't recognize HHV or 5P. I've never tried any of the ones you listed but AHL. I know AHL is all natural and safe. You are not boring at all LOL I'm glad to find a voice of reason in all this fast moving madness :)

Those would be Heather's Heavenly Vapes, and Five Pawns. HHV was the first vendor ever recommended to me, by an old co-worker who introduced me to vaping. I didn't start back then, but I always remembered the name. From what I gather, they make the most affordable commercial NET (Naturally-Extracted Tobacco) e-liquids (and other flavors also). I never tried a NET, so if I ever decide to step off Cheapskate Reservation, they'd probably be one I'd try. But I'm in no hurry!

Good morning everyone!
Well. ... I couldn't wait anymore to try the pumpkin pie lite on spice...... jeeze... I should have waited and let it steep more lol.
It was cloves and cheese. Straight up. Pepper taste yuck. My son cracked me up. . He was in the next room and yelled " ma... what is that? It smells sour.. like cheese!" Ok.. that was enough. I put it back in the cabinet to steep..oh I also can't get the taste out of my tank and I've soaked it in vodka overnight. I have others so no biggie.. I'll soak it more..
Now the unicorn milk is awesome... Sweet strawberry. .. milky cream... really really good.
So all in all I would order again and just avoid clove at all costs lol. It may steep to good.. we will see :)
Have a great day everyone!
Vape on!

A final note on Blacky Cigar, Slim's version of Black & Mild.

This is a minimum steep of one full week after letting it sit with the caps off overnight. I mention this because until the breathing and steeping, it will be a very immature and angry version of its' adult self and you will not get along.
Once steeped I have found it to be the most bold tobacco flavor I've tried from Slim's so far. It took me the last couple days to identify a familiar taste profile that was escaping me, but it finally hit me. If you have tried Burley and Candy from The Plume Room, this is it's tough big brother. Extremely similar flavor profiles, but the Blacky Cigar has a much darker tobacco note (cigar for sure) and an equally strong candied and slightly boozey taste. Quite enjoyable but probably an acquired taste unless you enjoy bold cigar flavors and a strong throat hit. I do. I see absolutely no reason to ever ask for extra flavoring on this one. Light flavor might be the way to go if you are just sampling. This was perfect on the golf course and afterwards with a dirty vodka martini. Final verdict: Thumbs up for an in your face, strong sweet cigar vape. Nice work Slim's!

Really? Mine has only gotten better. Didn't you order extra cream? I was afraid that might happen. Too much cream makes a cheesy flavor. What was the vg/pg and nic on the pumpkin pie?

Time to talk up the second round!

-----
Apple Dragon Cream (Dragonfruit, Green Apple, Caramel, Vanilla Custard, Bavarian Cream and Sweet Cream) - Of course, it's very creamy, lightly sweet and easy to vape. Not being overly familiar with dragon fruit, I ordered this one to cross-confirm that taste against another juice I've tried (Dragon Dew from ITC), and it worked well for that purpose. It adds a light melon flavor to the cream-swaddled candy apple blend. It's not really in my favorites lane, but that said, it's still pretty good!

Applewood Tobacco (Tobacco Blend with Apples and Almonds) - Now THIS. I needed it. ITC took Orangutan off the menu, so I had to find another juice that I could vape anytime, but especially when I crave a ciggy. A juice that adds that little something even better than a smooth tobacco taste. This. It's mine. Thank you. I had a tough day at work today, and I filled my office with it. It helped a lot.

Italian Stallion (Tiramisu and Irish Cream) - Right now, this is a mighty fine Irish Cream, mostly. I catch hints of the sweet dessert note on exhale, and I'm hoping it steeps forward to be less of a tease.

Law Man (Bavarian Cream, Double Dutch Chocolate, French Vanilla, Hazelnut, RY4, and Toasted Almond, Plain Tobacco, Turkish, and Vanilla Custard) - What a glorious mess. It's like a bloody international gunfight between the dastardly desserts and the tobacco top-guns. No wait, they're dancing! Yeah, I like it. It's creamy and sweet, but the tobacco flavors will not be denied. Well blended, unbelievably.

Unicorn Magic (Apple Pie, Caramel Candy, Graham Cracker, and Whipped Cream) - What the heck is with this name? Well you see, Slim has six different apple pie vapes. I ordered another (next round), and 3 of the remaining 4 are targeted for future consideration (I like apples). I'm guessing this one is Slim's favorite, since it's in the Signature Blends section, with a fancy moniker and a groovy black-light poster of moonlit Pegasus as its logo picture. Now, Pegasus is indubitably NOT a unicorn, but why quibble? The juice is wonderful. It's the best apple pie juice I've tried. A reviewer on the site likened it to Gambit, which is 5 Pawns' best-ever apple pie vape (that the thrifty I will probably never try). If you decide to judge for yourself, you won't be sorry.
-----

Ten down and no clinkers yet. I think it's safe to say that Slim knows how to mix.

OK, after side-tracking a bit with other things, I've done Re-visit #2, and there's been a little movement:

Applewood Tobacco has fallen a bit in my estimation. I still like the toppers, but as the tobacco steeps forward it's being revealed as the weaker ash-water sort that I don't favor. I think I'll get a Slim's tobacco sampler and ask for that end of it to be replaced, because...

Law Man has come into its own. The creamy, custardy top has a smooth, nutty chocolate kick, but it's the tobacco mash-up that's really shining with age. It's become very rich and fulfilling. So I'm going to find the goods, be it Turkish (Kamule Premium, maybe?), Virginia Fire-Cured, or I think Hazy Cowboy might be a good candidate, and I'll sub-mix a little apple until I find what I want out of Applewood Tobacco, or maybe ask Slim to sub it in for me.

Italian Stallion is better now. The Tiramisu has stepped up subtly, in good balance, because any more and the Irish Cream would disappear. Its slightly-sour whiskey is still there for throat hit, so I deem it nicely done.

Unicorn Magic is still a favorite, with a flavor so good that I'm a bit tempted to go for the Heavy 20% next time.

Apple Dragon Cream is what it is, and I've decided I don't like dragon fruit, so it won't be back. The apple doesn't redeem this one for me. But if you like dragon fruit, I'd say go for it.

Tried 3 so far....about 13-14 days off steep.

Orange Julio---Orange is a tad harsh...let it air over night, then back in the box to steep some more. If it mellows out, it has potential.

The Wizard---Best so far...the cream should get better with age...like the fruit combination...pretty smooth...gonna run all 10mls through the tank and check for the coil gunking issue in some of the reviews. If it passes, will get a big ole bottle

Deep Space---May have been the tank I was using, but the flavor was good, but muted. (Delta II with rba) Again, very smooth. Will put this in dual coil.

Will probably go with at least the "heavy flavor" option on any future orders.

Heading out camping for the weekend. Taking Peach Tobacco and Law Man along. They have been resting all week. Hoping my next order is in the mailbox Monday when I get home. It got delayed after shipping. I'm having a heck of a time getting shipments from TN to OR in less than a week.

Ok, I admit it, I'm lazy. I haven't retested all my new flavors yet. I'm using the Pumpkin Pie (lite) right now. The pumpkin and cream has come out a little more, but the spice was still a little too light(my fault). So what I did was add a few drops of VW Cinnamon Toast Cereal. Very nice, indeed. Next time, I'll leave it to Slim. Still got my eye on the Caramel Pumpkin Cheesecake.

I'm thinking about putting in an order, just for a few of the tobaccos. I still like to have a few in rotation, and the reviews within this thread for the 2 I'm interested in, Blueboro and the Peach Tobacco, have been positive and I'm nearly out of the 2 I currently use at my current nic level.

I will be moving in less than two weeks, so how has their processing/shipping times been?

Jef, mine came to Georgia in about 4 days. I think it took 8 or 9 days to get to @misterholidayhouse in Oregon, but he had a couple "special requests" to cook up, which might have added some processing time. Either way, I'm pretty sure two weeks is plenty. I'll be eager to hear what you think!
