I had the iPV D2 for a while and I loved how tiny it was, but I started to get the itch for more battery life so I ended up with the Joytech Cubiod. Overall I'm happy with it, but the fire button is a bit wonky and I hate that you can't lock the firing button. I've been turning it off when I put it in my pocket, but somehow it's turned back on and started firing multiple times.

I can live with this, but I am curious to know what else is out there. I love Pioneer devices, but the ipv4 and and iPV5 are a little too big for my liking, so I was wondering what everyone's experiences have been with small duel battery mods preferably that can go to 80w minimum. I suppose I'd be open to plug-in devices if they had good reviews, but I do like having batteries to quickly change out instead of depending on a place to charge via USB.

Thank you for any recommendations.

Dual battery mods are pretty much defined by battery size. Most are 18650 mods and those are large width when you place two of them side by side. In my Smok Koopor Plus 200W the two batteries take up about 4/5 of the width of the mod.

There may be some that use smaller 18350 or 18500 batteries, but with small size comes short charge life when you are using them to create heat in an ecig mod. Even a single 26650 battery in a mod would make it larger than most would like.

I'm sorry; I should've clarified that I meant the smallest mods that take two 18650's. @Grimjack thank you for reminding me about that one. I was really intrigued when it was first released, but Eleaf has had an inconsistent reputation so I was waiting to see some reviews come in. I may give that one a whirl.

Any other recommendations are appreciated.

Kbox 120 or 200. This thing has very little unused space. Compared to my istick 100 watt (not the tc) it feels tiny. Dimensions are 3 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 7/8". Biggest complaint from me is that it doesn't always recognize when I've switched attys. Have to hit the fire button with atty off to flash 9.99 on the ohms and then it reads correctly or asks me if I've put in a new coil and then it'll read it right.

Yep, I like my 120w. Same problem with reading resistance, not a big deal one you figure it out.

I just wish it was a wider to fit larger tanks without a overhang.

Wow. I couldn't live with this. Somethings wrong, my cuboid's button isn't wonky, nor ever turns back on.
If its not too late, return it for another!

If you wanna get nuts, get the Noisy Cricket mod. Dual 18650s in a series. I'm a stainless steel kinda guy and I think this is the prettiest box mod out there. Looks as small as an iStick 40W.

Note: It's a mech....

I like and have the boxer dna 133..

check out the sigelei 213...that form factor is just "the t-i-t-s", quoting rip there...no idea when its coming out however. Will it fire to 213W running dual 18650s? Probably not, but I don't really care since I've never found the need to go above 80W yet.
It certainly won't fire 213w safely.

How much battery life are you looking for. I use an IPV D3 all day. I have a Boreas with dual coils coming in at .4 OHMs. Fire it around 30 watts and get 6 - 7 hours of life from a single LG HB 2 (brown) and the same from Samsung 30Q's. Could be more of a battery issue than mod. Unless you are looking to get a two days use on a single charge cycle.
