Small static shock when unplugging MVP 2 from charger

This may be a silly question, but I went to grab my MVP off my charger ( it was almost all the way charged, but green light was still on, read 4.2 when I took it off and quickly went to 4.1) I noticed a small, painless, but noticable static shock. This was from just touching my MVP, BEFORE I touched the charger and took it off.

Is this normal, or common? I am asking because I get really nervous about electricity and battery safety and I just want to know if it is alright and perfectly safe to use. If it helps, was using my laptop right before I went to touch it, so it may have been from that. I just want to know if I should be worried at all, or if I can still vape it without getting nervous.

Ya, happens to me occasionally in the winter after walking across the carpet. Just static electricity. BTW the MVP is done charging when the green light turns off. It will drop from 4.2 to 4.1 pretty quick. It usually hangs in the 4.0 to 3.7 volt range for the longest period of time

Thanks for the advice! and yeah, I usually leave it in until the light turns off but I was just being impatient and knew it was almost there haha.
