So I have been reading about PV's removable batteries but most of them are very large. So my question is: is there anything about the size of an eGo type PV with replaceable batteries and at least 650mAh, available in the US and is 510 threaded?

The only things I know of are the Trueman eGo-RS but currently only seems to be available direct from China, and the eGo-Cab which is only 360mAh and requires adapters for 510 threads. Is there anything else? I don't like PV's that look like light sabers.

E-Power 14650. Just slightly longer than some eGos. Available from CCV (Crystal Clear Vaping) and Tropical Vapors. CCV has the newer 510/eGo threaded version. The model at Tropical is the older 510 only version (like the one I use. 14650 battery is 1050 mAh in ICR and 950 mAh in IMR.

Also, there are a heck of a lot of APVs out there that use the 18350 IMR battery at 700/800 mAh. Some are just slightly longer than eGos and feature VV/VW to boot.

BB.jpg Altsmoke BB uses a replaceable 14500 battery capable of lasting over 7 hours. Not variable voltage.

Mini Provari is variable voltage with a built-in voltage and atomizer meter. Above pic shows it side by side with an eGo Twist. The default 18350 IMR battery will last 7 hours, but the manufacturer offers a battery extension cap allowing a longer 18490 battery that will last 11 hours.

Super EgoVV (135mm in length though), only available from China venders as most US venders stopped stocking them....

super variable voltage battery S2

Good to know they exist, but I doubt I would ever order direct from China. I just don't trust ordering from China.

I wonder why this type of design is not more popular. Everyone seems to want VV/VW, many people prefer the smaller sizes of the eGo line over the Mag-light sizes and changeable batteries just makes economical sense.

Many vapors do not like the extreme length that some of the higher mah eGo's can be. They don't exactly fit well in a purse or pocket because of their extreme length.

There are many PV's that utilize removeable batteries that are much shorter in length which make them more portable to carry in a pants or shirt pocket than the longer eGo's that can be just too unwieldly. It's easy to make up for the shorter battery life (lower mah) by carrying a couple of spare batteries in a safe plastic battery case.

A couple more examples of PV's that use removable batteries. The Smoktech Gripper (non-variable voltage) uses an 18350 battery capable of lasting over 8 hours. Only $16. http://www.madvapes.com/gripper.html

It's bigger brother does have variable voltage and uses an 18650 IMR battery that can last all day. Only $40. http://www.madvapes.com/catalogsearch/result/?order=relevance&dir=desc&q=vv+gripper
