Hi All!! I've been vaping since April, and had my last analog in May (weee!) I fell in love with Bedford Slims first-I love their tobacco-- and hoard them for myself every couple weeks when I have to fly to NY for work. I have since purchased a Volt (dead now
:grr:
haha!) so I have been building up my eliquid collection since then. My clients and coworkers are familiar with vaping now and since the Kr808 is so small and thin, it doesn't look so weird to the uninitiated. Well, last week or so I purchased an ego-c twist... and, wow, that thing is larger than I anticipated. I love the variable voltage and love the manual battery... just an all-around solid vape for the price paid. But its so big for public. One of my clients saw my ego twist and jokingly said "so did you move up to high-tech alien crank now or what?" he was joking, but I already felt odd about it. Any ideas? should I just purchase another Volt and stick with that for my office?

I really like that the twist battery lives longer than a couple hours and I know that smaller size = shorter battery life, but are there any in between options that I am overlooking??

Thanks a bunch for any insight :) I'm glad to finally jump into posting instead of the learn-n-lurk I've been doing for the past few months!!

Well, for VV, that eGo twist is supposed to be pretty good. I haven't ventured down that path. It is a large unit, however.

For work, for a smaller unit, the Volt X2 650 works pretty well (still the 808 threading of the regular Volt batteries, and not VV). I use the 650 at work, now, too. I have the larger 900 and 1300 as well, but the 650 fits pretty well into the palm of my hand, and with a carto and not a tank or clearo, it isn't too obtrusive. The 650 lasts more than a day (supposedly around 6+ hours - at a constant vape, but who constantly vapes at work?). I vape it at my desk kind of out of sight, but outside I'm not so particular. A coworker mentioned the way I was holding it then made it look like a little piccolo, lol. But, in the palm of the hand, it isn't too unsightly. Regardless, a jump up from the slim look can take someone aback at first. So, keep that in mind with any mid size or larger battery.

Should you want to try it, the X2 (and all instock items at SI) are currently on sale 21% off with the code INDEPENDENCE for today only.

Well, if it's just over a joke and you really enjoy your Ego Twist, I'd just keep vaping on it and let the people get their fun out over your new weirder looking toy. Might take a few weeks and that'll be that. Happened to me and it's all passed now. But I also didn't feel bad/odd about it so that's up to you. That would be my suggestion.

Good idea!! I have never even taken a look at the x2. Glad to know I'm not the only one who vapes in my office ;) but really - Thank you for the insight andddd the code!

Did you get the eGO Twist 650mah? or the 900/1000mah?

I have the 650, and I don't think it's big at all. Just like a fountain pen, really. All down to personal taste, though, I know. If others want to mock you, let them. The Twist is a great unit for the size, and if it keeps you off the stinkies... ;)

Mine is the 650, too. It is just bigger than I expected really. a lot bigger than my volt. It's not too big to vape, just kind of a shock compared to the teensy analog sized volt I am used to. I agree, though, the Twist is a solid vape and I really think its a good value and I enjoy the VV. I kinda "get it" now when I see people talking about their super-crazy-vape-power units. :vapor:

I like your advice. A different solution to my "problem." (which isn't really a problem, actually, the problem was the analogs!)
Thanks :)
