Here's another idea. Buy a short replacement tube for about $6 and a couple of 18350 batteries and see what you think of that Evic an inch and 1/2 shorter. I think Stormy's Vapor Seller stocks them as well as several places that sell the EVic.

If you like that size, it will look great with your existing tanks.

I like the itaste 3 as well -- but only with some type of clearo or a thinner style carto tank. IBTanked will soon be coming out with a very tiny one that uses shorty carto's. Phiniac makes a thin tank and so does Unique. There are also more economical branded ones for both taller and regular sized carto's.....but the brand name(s) escapes me right now.

There are very few vari's that are tiny as the electronics need sufficient power to operate for a practical amount of time. To get a more compact vari one would need to go to a more box like shape.

If you don't insist on a vari for stealthy vaping --- I love my glv mini and my vmod2. The "mini" ego's are also fun.

Little Sister Variable Vari-Cool - Ken's Boxmods

I have seen other people link to this guy through this kind of post. Never used one before, but it does look pretty cool.

I'd say that's the smallest vv ever made for re-sale. Biggest downside, it doesn't last very long between battery swaps. It is plastic. It is adorable. I've seen them and vaped on them. It is a quality device, imho and certainly best in it's class.

I recall hearing something similar to that. And, I don't know anyone saying that they ARE Evic tubes -- but tubes that fit the Evic.

I also recall Stormy's saying that Anyvape is a branch or subsidiary company of JoyeTech, and I did not doubt her, nor do I know if that data is still on her site.

These tubes are not rip offs or clones or done to undercut JoyeTech in any way. I have both the old model JoyE tube (pre-evic) and the Anyvape tube in 18350. The threads match, but there is a teeny gap between the wheel and the top of the cap.

Here's the first place I found that has the Sid tubes if anyone would like to give them a try: Smoktech SID 18500 / 18350 Battery Tubes $11.39-11.64 | gotsmok.com

They also have a tube for an 18490/18500 battery.:p Uh oh, that is tempting.:)

Part of what I like about the Evic is it's modular nature. We have never had that capability in a mod before. There are/were high end stainless tubes, telescoping tubes and top caps as well, made by some well known companies.

Both sizes are shown on the page of the link I sent.....Gotsmok..

My computer just went wonky -- so I can't see the Madvapes link right now.

This post will show up when my computer decides to behave for a minute or two.

Good luck and happy vaping.

AW lMR's are the way to go in both the 18490 and 18350 size. All AW's have a great reputation, and are the best rated for these sizes. For practical purposes, that means that in these sizes, the AW's will last longer between battery swaps.

I have the Itaste V3 and love it, works great. A similar mod, a cube Rider Robust from the classies that I like so much I just bought a second, hot pink one - found it on sale here L-Rider Robust A. Robust is about 1/4" wider and maybe 1/2" taller than the Itaste but it uses 14500 batteries, so hopefully it will last longer than my Itaste which will just be gone when the battery finally goes. Do need to buy a 510/ego connector on the Robust for my Kanger stuff on top, but those are cheap.

Now I know it got a bum review from some online, but for the way I vape Robust is perfect. Good size, battery lasts me all day pretty much (I don't chain vape) and it looks good with Evods and Protanks. Just throwin' out another option.
