Smells!!!

Did not realize how much I was missing out on!! I went shopping today and every store I walked into I was like "OH WOW, it smells so good in here!"

Of course it's not all good. The other day hubby passed some really smelly gas, thought I was going to have to get the gas mask out lol. It was the only time this wk I missed my analogs! Kinda dreading this spring when the farmers will be out with the manure.

I know what you mean. I've been enjoying some new-found pleasant smells. Bad part is when the wind shifts and starts blowing from the direction of the paper mill or the sewage treatment plant. I could smell them on analogs, but now it's industrial strength.

The worst for me (and I hate to say because I used to be the same) is being around someone who smokes a lot. WOW! I have a cousin who smokes and I used to go out and have a smoke with him (his wife does not allow smoking in the house). I never noticed it before at all. I ran into him today at the grocery store and he came over to say hi. It was bad. Makes ya think........

I have tried to get him to switch but he wont.

Smell coming back can be good and bad for sure. One week after quitting I discovered I REALLY needed to clean out my refrigerator. I couldn't believe it had smelled that bad from.... something that had fallen behind the veg bin.

My wife and I went to the gym last night and I couldn't believe how bad it smelled.She said it's always smelled like that.I think I liked it more when I smoked lol

I know everyone says that they can smell so much better after quitting analogs, but I have to say that I only smell the really BAD smells better and have some kind of lag on the good ones <<Beez pings the good smells>>.

I was amazed at how good the garden smelled last summer. And now as I'm driving down the street with the car windows closed, I can tell if someone has a fire going in their fireplace. On the down side, I can tell if a smoker has recently been in the elevator at work. I don't miss being that guy.
