Hit your fire button 4 times
Use the up down button to hit settings. Hit "settings" and from there, you can adjust "brightness" which I just turned mine down 50%.

You'll also see time out which you can reduce to 10 seconds.

I just figured that out by playing with it, ever since I have like, been teased mercilessly by the kid and the husband about my lack of "intuitive knowledge of menu systems" I just start playing with them first, and often times I am far more capable than I realize, so like, thanks for giving me a reason to do it.

I'm not going to say bad things never happen. They do. But, like, I get teased less often now that I've learned to say to myself "I'm just navigating a menu." LOL.

I have both the BattleStar an the Charon. I never really paid much attention to how much batteries it goes through. It generally depends on how much I vape. For the most part it does last me a whole day and sometimes I do not have to swap batteries for two or more days.

But I generally always carry both mods and I vape different juices in each mod. So I swap out between the 2 throughout the day. I am waiting on a third non Smoant mod coming in soon so I will see how that one compares.

I found the Battlestar tended to last a bit longer than the Cylon, no big colour screen to power. Found the Cylon OK on battery life but not brilliant wouldn't last me a full day for sure but long enough. Not chain vaping etc but just having it around for casual use I'd say the batteries would, for me, be good for 8-10 hours in the 30-40w range. DNA chip devices in my experience are better at battery life.
