Hi, I've been looking for a new mod and tank to add to my collection and have noticed prices for the mod and tank I'm looking for that are $10-20 cheaper than every other listing. While getting them cheaper would be great because I don't have a ton of money to spend on vaping, I need to know the safety aspects about clones compared to authentic vapes. I know that Smok Alien's have exploded before so if there's anymore chance for that if I buy a clone, then please let me know so I can get what's safest for me. Thanks!

I doubt anyone bothers to make a smok alien clone. You don’t clone something cheap you clone something expensive.
Eh, you never know. Someone might have gotten a bunch of rejected stock and are selling it off. What am I saying? This is Smok, and I doubt they ever reject anything that might have a QC problem.
That said, it all comes down to who the vendor is and where they're located. In addition, this question over a Thanksgiving weekend means there are folks running all kinds of sales and maybe it's that. If you check out the Suppliers section here you'll find legit vendors. Is this an import from China (obviously comes from, but I mean a Chinese retailer)? You can save money that way too, but be prepared for that slow boat to finally make port.

I haven't heard of any clones of smok gear either, but really sometimes prices are just low on some things. Unless it says it is a clone, I'm not sure I'd assume it is...
