Smok Baby Beast RBA (and TC)

Anyone have the smok baby beast RBA? If so have you tried to use TC wire in it? I cannot get an accurate ohm reading on either my DNA-200 or my smok Alien. Moreover, my DNA-200 will not read either my SS or Ti coils in TC mode (kicks it out of TC immediately). I have checked and double checked my coils. They are perfectly spaced and the hex screws are tight. I have rebuilt this thing 3 times now and either the DNA-200 kicks it out of TC mode or reads the wrong resistance.

I'm thinking there is something screwy with the contact pin in this tank.

I had issues with my RBA base aswell. Turned out it was a bad press fit connection between the positive post and the positive 510 pin.

I always use the same coil in all my dual coil builds. Dual 28g 8 wrap around 3mm ID and comes out between 0.43-0.44ohms depending on mods. With the BB RBA it was around 0.5-.51ohms.

Long story short, build the exact same coil on a different RTA or RBA and compare resistance, if it is off, chances are you got a bad RBA deck also

Yes, after tapping on the center pin with a screw driver and a hammer it resolved my resistance problem.

But it is not in my rotation so I do not know if it is a permanent fix or a temp fix.

I need to spend some time on the wicking to get it right. On the same coil and wick, one hour it would leak, another hour it wouldn't, and back and forth. This was after about 4 different wicking styles and methods. I have a feeling it is the top fill seal not making a proper seal

It was like playing roulette trying to guess if it would leak or not. Decided just to shelf it because I didn't want to take any chances on it leaking on my mods

I use the same coils in multiple ones but the o-rings on mine seem to have to be replaced much more quickly than other tanks. I'm suspecting I got a bad batch of them
