Smok Guardian III

Scratch that first item! The G3 simply falls out unless you press down and actually see the vinyl covering split down in the recess in order to keep the Guardian 3 in place! In the update here I had to rest the original foam tray right behind the G2 as well as the heavier larger new G3 model to be able to grab the quick snapshot here.

The first Guardian Mech type epipe is on the left there all three with the Dragon head style 510 drip tips since I still couldn't find anything other then regular pipes with removable mouth pieces to get the wide spout and air flow the typical wide bore tips you see on sub ohm tanks and those tips there get.

The second smaller vinyl stand however works fine for the Guardian II. So a few more stands had to be looked over with a second wooden one adequate for both the G2 and new G3 models is seen at http://smile.amazon.com/Wooden-Stan...&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

The second is wood as well as but looks more like some plastic tray for tossing one or the other in while at the pc desk while that would be most often used while out visiting this summer. Amazon.com : Eline hand made sandalwood tobacco pipe rack smoking pipe holder/stand : Patio, Lawn & Garden

Despite the extra items ordered at least it will never end up being a waste of time since a second G3 may be in the works if not running into a smaller epipe mod someone comes out that still runs sub ohm tanks.

GOOBER ALERT to watch for in this update on the SMOK Guardian 3 model.

When using the first with the second one just having arrived today it didn't take long for the large main connector to loosen up and can easily be pulled out to expose the two heavy insulated wires. The problem now is how to get it to stay in firm since many epoxys will simply chew up the plastic molded body.

The extra long drip tips were ordered when no 510 type pipe tip that would fit in with the desired appearance could be found. The round insert has a flat on one side where glue could be applied. But something like electrical tape wedged in might be a better alternative to keep the plastic from being dissolved.

The second epipe ordered hasn't seen any similar problem suggesting either damaged during shipping or flaw in material was the cause when two large pieces broke off after the connector was found loose. It was after trying to refit the main connector back in the two pieces suddenly fall off. :(

So far the packing tape used to hold the connector inplace and cover the bare spare space is working out until I can find a glue that will work on that type of material. Most epoxies tend to harden up and become too brittle for anything where you need to have material that flexes from temp changes as well as from handling. That is where the problem will be. A number of commonly sold glues simply wouldn't work.
