Smok nano one and micro STC2 coil

I just got my smok nano one in the mail. I am currently using the micro STC2 dual coils in temp control and they have a recommended temp range of 175C-290C. Whenever i use the coil at temperatures between 175C and about 230C it cuts out after a couple of seconds with a temperature protection message and if i try to hit it again right after it doesn't work. This still happens at higher temperatures but not so quickly or for as long. Does anybody know why? Thanks a lot
