Smok & OFRF NexM 30W Pod Kit

Good morning everyone! Today I would like to tell you about a new Kit Pod that was born thanks to the collaboration of two famous companies of the smok & OFRF vaping we had already seen the use of the OFRF conical mesh technology on the tfv16.

The Smok NexM POD KIT is a small pod device with an aluminum alloy shell produced by Smok very elegant and crafted, the coils exploit the nexmesh technology.

Inside this shell there is the 1200 mAh battery and a chipset that can vary the power from 5 to 30w with Pass-through, the screen is 0.69 “and the coils are replaceable.

It seems there are 6 colors to choose from:
Silver, Gun Metal, Black, Blue, Gold and Red.

The protective shell of the mod is in aluminum alloy and contains a 1,200mAh lithium-ion battery protected and equipped with a pass-through, rechargeable in about an hour.

The Fire button (shown in the photo) is perfectly integrated in the first of the two side panels, almost invisible and mixed with the “OFRF” decoration.
The other side has a nice-looking pattern (Smok & Ofrf), composed of many micro-holes and slightly rough to the touch.

The 0.69 “TFT screen includes all the useful indications for vaping, Volt, Ohm, Watt and battery charge status indicator.

The upper part of the NexM (shown in the photo) incorporates a small opening which has the function of conveying the air to the coil
The compartment for inserting the Pod has two black magnets and two gold-plated floating pins.
On the bottom of the NexM we find the micro-usb charging port.

Coil:

There are two coil options included in the NexM kit, one is characterized by the conical structure of the mesh that channels the outlet steam into a smaller area, the other instead adopts a classic coil, they are respectively the NexM Meshed SS316 from 0, 4 Ω 15-20W DTL and the Dual Coil NexM Normal in FeCral from 0.4 Ω 12-25W suitable for use in MTL

The Waterproof Cartridge:
According to Smok, this cartridge adopts a system that eliminates any loss and condensation.

The other details of the cartridge (visible in the photo) show the unusual but comfortable shape of the drip-tip, the hole for inserting the coils, the two black magnets, the filling holes with relative rubber cap and the very important and effective ring nut to be screwed to the coil, with fully adjustable flow. The air adjustment ring nut has two opposite slots.

How Smok NexM works:
Five clicks on the Fire button to turn on / off the mod.
Fire button and Up button to invert the screen
Up / Down keys to lock the screen and the vaping.

Final considerations.
The Smok NexM Pod I liked a lot, in terms of aesthetics and finishes. I find it absolutely handy.
Excellent safety equipment, even on such a small device it is always better to have it.
Good life of the lithium ion battery, the chip is very reactive to fire, the indications on the display are quite precise, the pod is equipped with air regulation, the ring nut adjusts well, allows opening or closing suitable for puffs according to requirements. With the “Waterproof” cartridge I have not noticed the slightest condensation formation, the liquid consumption is low with both coils.

The coils despite adopting different materials are similar in behavior, excellent reactivity to the Fire button, good steam production and aromatic yield, both are flexible in use depending on how the air-flow ring is regulated. With the air-flow almost completely closed the shot is quite MTL, while opening it all up and increasing the watts you get a good limited DTL.

Is it suit able for the MTL coils to use a 30mg salt nic 50/50 pg vg?

Hi, I'm sorry I don't know the answer.
I use liquid concentrations of Nic 3/6 mg directly in the VG / PG.
Salt Nic is rarely used in our country.
