I have not used any SMOK mods, only RDA's. I have had the SMOK Caterpillar and the SMOK Caterpillar2(Goldpillar). Both of them were outstanding beginner RDA's. I would recommend them to anyone starting out vaping with rebuildable, mostly due to authentic SMOK RDA's are rather cheap, I think the Cat1 was $15.00, and the Cat2Gold was $17.00.

I always liked innokin products. but I had 3 v3s, svd, mvp2, coolfire, and coolfire2, all have quit working for one reason or another (i'm rough on stuff) but my smok zmax mini is still going. It's about a yr old. I have broke every tank I put on it and the paint is almost all gone but it still works like it did when it was new. My mvp2 survived living with me about 6mo.

I'm rough too and debating over Itaste MVP 3 or the XPro M80 plus by Smok

Is one better quality then the other? I wanna buy an advanced kit and both have their own stuff, but ITaste seems to be more expensive from what I am looking at!

A few opinions? I need something durable.

Both are top brands
Innokin probably has more variety in power/battery devices.
Smok probably has more variety in the toppers that go on the battery; I believe Smok even has cartos? and dct cartotanks.

By far the better one is the Smok xpro m80 plus! A buddy of mine has the MVP 30W and its not that good. In fact, my iStick 30W performs better. Trust me, I've dropped my Ksub mini on both and my iStick 30W pushes my Ksub mini instantly. I just got my Xpro m80 plus and this thing is a beast! 80W for the small price. You won't be disappointed with it. This is a device you can grow with for a long time. The 30W is ok but if you want better sub tanks at higher wattage then you'll for sure be completely happy with the Smok Xpro m80 plus!

If you are looking for durabilty, go with innokin iTastse MVP 3. I have a MVP2 and the mod is a TANK!! A patron at my local vape shop said he dropped his of a second story balcany and aside from surface blemishes and scuffs on the exterior, did not even phase it on bit!! Worth the money!! I would recomend the MVP 3 as it is the more powerful big brother to the MVP 2. Keep in mind that i know nothing on the smok, so my recomendation is biased, but the MVP IS A SOLID MOD THAT WILL LAST!!
Go in peace, Friend.

My Innokin MVP 1 is still working 2 years after purchase. Innokin is proven quality and best bang for the buck. The latest MVP 3.0 PRO does hit 60 Watts as well. Plus they have the new Coolfire 4 (40 watts) forthcoming and rumored temperature control mod coming this summer.

Smok is known for lower cost mods and toppers, and receive mixed reviews. Their Groove mod was recalled due to internal battery bursting into flames when the mods were dropped. They are a budget manufacturer.
