The Species is SMOK's replacement for the Alien, it would have been called the Alien V2 if it wasn't for some pesky legal issues that SMOK had to deal with, so Species it is.
Perhaps surprisingly, it's actually a big improvement on the Alien, very robust (no easily chipped paint job), and more slimline. Smok don't waste much space on their dual 18650 mods these days and this is no exception. For those who like a full bore vape experience, but prefer the convenience of drop in coils, the Smok Species is a real crowd pleaser.
