So I've been messing with these cheap little tanks for awhile, and they are truly a steal for the price. Now that I've been using them for awhile, I've noticed that the stock o-rings get brittle fairly quickly. Has anybody found some silicone ones, or know where i could find some? I would also like to try getting a pyrex tube together for one if anybody has any experience with that.

I was just gonna say that. I was at work today, a guy came in needing AC seals. I never thought about it before bit, chemically resistant. And, Green too. Nothing like looking and being eco-friendly!

Also, you might have to get a multi pack of those seals. AutoZone for instance does not have those in the bins anymore but, under $12 Inc. tax for about 30-45 in different sizes

I haven't had much luck, been ignored and gotten one nasty email back. The only other option for pyrex would be to buy 4 feet of the right size tubing, and cut it myself, and I'm not sure these tanks are built well enough to justify that. lol Honestly, with the did clones for 25 bucks that I'm playing with now, I've kind of lost faith in these smoktechs. I did a couple mods to the did clone, and it's been trouble free for about two weeks so far, longer than any of my smoktechs lasted.

Got the Vivi's and modded both of them - they work!

It is definitely a tight fit in that tank, though. To remove the tank I use an old SS tube I have that is just barely smaller in dia than the tank. I put the tube in the top, invert the whole thing then push the plastic tank down. Came up with this after trying to remove the tank to clean for different flavor juice and had the center post come out.

I fixed the post with some loctite superglue and the pressed the two pieces back together. Luckily I did not break the wire when it separated.

My biggest problem right now is getting the ohms that I want. I only have #34 and #36 ga Kanthal and I either get too high (3.0+) or too low (2.0-) with only about three coils. I guess I will have to buy some #32 ga and then I will be able to add a coil or two to get the 2.2 - 2.4 ohms I desire. I would like to be able to use them on standard Ego batteries and not just my ProVari.

I coil them by first attaching the Kanthal to the negative screw - then I measure the resistance of the wire and crimp a piece of non-resistance wire to it. I then wrap the wick and, after putting two small washers on the center post, tighten the screw with the NR wire between the washers. This seems to work well, since you don't have to get the wick so close to the center post.

Since I've only been at it for a couple days, I think more tinkering will be needed to perfect the vape, although it is not too bad in flavor and vapor production right now.

I too am seriously thinking of a Z-Atty Pro, but for now the price is holding me up (no bullets!):p.

I forgot to mention that I tapped the remaining wick hole with a 2.5mm tap - I had originally used a screw to prevent any leaking into the top chamber if it was tipped. Then I figured that it may prevent the mesh from wicking properly. I found a plastic piece of tubing (think it was from an aerosal duster) and ended up threading it into that hole and cut it off even with wick/center post. That should allow for air flow while hampering leakage due to tipping.
