I got one of the very early ST Telescope mods back in August. The bottom button broke on mine within four days just by tightening the lock.
I considered it a fluke, and ordered another switch. One day my telescope rolled off the table and again the switch snapped at the same spot.
The post on these switches (at least on the ones I got from GV and MV) were made of a cheap pot metal or plastic, wrapped in a thin brass sleeve.
At any rate, I was recently told by GotVapes that they had never heard of this happening to anyone, which I find hard to believe given how easily mine repeatedly broke.
I am curious as to who else had their button break off at the shaft - please, no "mine works fine" posts. I'm only interested in how many of these actually broke.
