It's a nice looking kit, and man, I continue to feel that smok does color well. It looks like a fun setup from my brief peek, but I don't use smok mods so I can't really be of much help as far as coils, etc. If you go to the manufacturer's page, though, that should tell you what coil types it accepts. Just do a search for the mod, and smok's page should pop up, that's what happened to me...

Hopefully, someone will be along with more experience than I. I think it looks like a nice setup and I also think that smok's QC woes seem to have been solved for the moment, although I don't believe they are the most durable mods on the market, but the folks that enjoy smok products and treat them right seem to do pretty well. Best of luck deciding.

I believe this has the same chip as the Procolor, Majesty and the like. It's not a bad performing chip in my experience.

I have the Procolor, and the only thing I'm not happy about with it, is that it is damaging the negative end of my batteries.

The flip open door is tight to close. Not sure if it's slightly too small or the springs on the internal side of the mod are too stiff, but I have a pair of VTC4 and 25R's that have both only been used in the Procolor. Both pairs have the negative terminals 'dimpled' in. The Sony's worse than the Samsungs. Not sure if the Sony is slightly longer or the metal a bit weaker on the negative end, but I'm not happy with it.

For this reason, I would not purchase the Procolor again. Other than that, the Procolor and the board are decent.

Not sure if the other SMOK mods with similar battery doors are going to have the same issue or not. Personally, I think I'm done with SMOK. This is a pretty basic oversight in design in my opinion and could lead to a safety issue if folks aren't paying attention to their batteries. In the Battery sub-forum, another member posted of similar issues with the Procolor.

Personally, I would buy a Smoant Cylon instead and get the tank by itself if you really want the SMOK tank.
