Smok X Cube II question about TCoR

Hello,

I have been vaping with this device for a while now. I use the smok X Cube II with a Kanger SUBTANK Plus (0.15 Ni200c coil)

For some strange reason, the smok never seems to read the correct resistance. I unscrew it and screw it back in several times just to get different results. Ranging from 0.24 to 0.60...Never got to get it to read 0.15. When I manage to get it to read 0.24, there is an option manually adjust the ohm so I can lower it to 0.19. (it doesn't let me go lower)

I have read that it had something to do with TCoR.

They mention I have to configure 2 temp options properly. I tried to attach 2 images to this post. In the first screen i get, This number is set by default (0.00600) and the other screen asks me SC or DC. what does this mean and how can I know what to configure?

I've read the Smok manual but it doesn't explain anything about this.

I would like to understand how this works.

Also, I am guessing TCoR means temperature coefficient rate...? I am fairly new to setting these kinds of coils up. I stopped vaping for a couple of days because I wasn't able to set this correctly and didn't take the time to ask how all of this worked.

Have you done a firmware update ?

Your tcr value seems high for ti grade 1 try 0.0035 see if that improves things. SC & DC means single coil or dual coil so apply the setting that matches your setup.

I am on the latest which is 1.093 (right?) I searched on Smok this week and didn't find any newer updates

Ah! single coil and dual coil so that's a good thing to know. also, these pictures were just as reference. I use Nickel single coils so should I lower the tcr value to 0.0035 for nickel also?
