Hi. Just got the X Cube Mini with Firmware 1.02 installed but smok seems to have a later version available. Every time I try to "check version" it says it failed. Not sure why this keeps on happening. It states you are supposed to do this before you plug in the mod but I just can't figure it out and there are no good YouTube tutorials to show...in fact, I could only find one and that guy even had problems. Any advice? Do I even need to upgrade? Thanks for any help and guidance on this one!

I did not encounter this problem when I upgraded mine
I just followed the steps the application said, and it went without any hiccups
I did see a video from dslb vapes and he had some problems with the connection, it might be the usb not completely connected ?

Tried a bit later and it worked fine. Not exactly sure what the problem was but regardless, it's upgraded now. Thanks much!
