Hello and welcome back for today's review of the X-Priv Solo Kit from smok, this kit was provided to me from Sourcemore and is on sale for $35.19. The X-Priv Solo uses a single replaceable 18650 battery with a maximum power output of 80 watts, plus it uses a touch screen with haptic feedback. The tank for this kit is the TF-D subtank which has a 3.5ml capacity. The color display screen has 3 colorful themes to choose from that are activated by a responsive fire bar. This is a easy to operate as well as navigate device. The X-Priv Solo is a narrow device and it easily disappears in a closed fist, there's much to cover so let's get started.

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS

This kit comes nicely packaged with the straight glass on the tank, you lose on capacity with the straight glass but I think it looks better than with the bubble glass installed on it, the straight glass keeps a nice streamlined appearance.

Below the device, tank and bobble glass sit the 0.23Ω coil, charge cord, owners manual, battery safety card, spare O-Rings and safety warning pamphlet. As with the larger dual battery X-Priv that I reviewed earlier the Solo is covered with stickers for shipping protection.

Starting out with the tank, there are 2 slotted airflow channels up top that pretty much makes the tank leak proof. Airflow wide open gives a good DL vape with decent flavor, closing down the airflow for a RDL vape is when the flavor really begins to pop ( Great Flavor ).

Knurling is on the top cap but it's just for aesthetics because the top cap is slide to open style with a arrow showing where to push. One problem with this sliding top cap is if you use 100 or 120ml bottles you will need to remove the drip tip to fill up. Speaking about the drip tip, I found it to comfortable and of the right size.

Moving on to the device I really love how narrow it is, not much bigger than the single 18650 battery that powers it. The device easily disappears in a clenched fist with no problem.

When I said it was covered in protection stickers I wasn't kidding! I like how Smok put a fire key instruction sicker on the device to get the user familiar with the click sequence.

The bottom of the device sits pretty flat but there is a bit of a rock because of the rounded bottom, no sharp edges to be found on this device. The design on the battery cover is beautyful.

There is a small groove cut into the bottom of the device making it easy to slip a fingernail into to remove the back battery cover. A battery ribbon is also on the device.

The menu is very simple and easy to remember as I'll list it below.

    MENU

2 QUICK CLICKS OF THE FIRE BAR - Locks Adjustments

3 QUICK CLICKS OF THE FIRE BAR - Locks Entire Device

4 QUICK CLICKS OF THE FIRE BAR - Lets You Clear Puffs And Change Themes

5 QUICK CLICKS OF THE FIRE BAR - Turn The Device On/Off

There are 3 display themes to choose from and all look good and are very colorful. You see the 2 brackets on each side at the bottom, they are the adjustment buttons with haptic feedback.

    FINAL IMPRESSIONS

As I did with the dual battery X-Priv I love the X-Priv Solo just as much, and the tank and coils for the great flavor they produce. I'm always carrying the combo because it slips in a pocket easily being so streamlined with no buttons protruding.

I think this makes a perfect kit for anyone, seasoned vaper or new vaper because it performs so well and is very easy to operate. I highly recommend the X-Priv Solo Kit 100%.

I would like to thank Sourcemore for providing this kit to me for review and I also want to thank all of you that read my reviews.

    THANK YOU
