Smok X4 Coil Ohm

Hey Guys,

I picked up a pack of smok X4 coils for my Big Baby Beast. On the package it says the coils are 0.15 ohm but the coil I've installed is reading at around 0.37 in all my mods. Is this normal or did I get a dud coil?

Not sure. All my X4s read between .17 and .18. There will be a little difference, but that much? Something might be wrong with the coil, or the 510 connection.

When was the last time you thoroughly cleaned the 510 connections?
Qtip & rubbing alcohol scrub it good & be sure to clean all threaded areas clean shiny & spotless too.

Are you sure they are authentic coils? Did you try a different coil from the same pack?

Cleaning the 510 connector is a good idea too.

My X4's read around 0.16-0.18.

Thanks guys, it looks like it was just a bad coil. I pulled another one from the pack and it is reading 0.18 ohms.
