This is the M50 so it's a totally different mod. I wonder if Stephenwhat was actually talking about the BT50 rather than the M50.

ya he was definitely talking about the M50 but my point is if we both have the issue where it goes to sleep in 15 seconds then its must be some sort of firmware update that some people already had installed that makes theirs go to sleep at 65 seconds. btw I just seen this update on smoks website so i guess M-series owners can send in their mods to get updated. I emailed them directly for info but no response yet. How sad my BT50 still has no update, they pushed the 50 watt update out through bluetooth for the BEC pro Screen Shot 2015-01-27 at 5.25.39 PM.jpg

Not sure if this will do anything for you, but did you try the reset button?

I did try the reset several times.I took it back to the shop I bought it from and explained what it was doing,he took it back and is going to send it back to the distributor. He is getting the updated M65's next week and is going to give me one of those instead

Hello , new guy here. Got this annoying power reduce feature. It makes the device totally unuseable. I'm not exaggerating. Been struggling couple of days with Delta2 cleamomizer. Best vape comes from 40-50w imo. But no more 50w when battery is so low than 96%. Then it let's me vape 45 until my battery is 80%. Time for 40 which is possible until battery 75%. After this Delta2 is no good imo. I use best batteries available. So what can/should I do with this device?

Yes I as well was in contact with mad vapes. But as of right now my m50 is my only box mod as my other previous one is kaput. They as well just told me it will be a couple of weeks and I just have to cover the cost of shipping, and they will do it for free. Just not sure if 15 watts is worth the difference considering it has a power adjust feature. So the dilema would be, vape at 65 watts on a dripper for like 20 minutes, before it powers down to 50 watts. Or Vape on 50 watts for about an hour before it powers down to 40 watts lol.

I ordered my M65 this morning and should get it by the 5th ( shipping is the only thing I have against weekends!). I just hope my batteries get here by then. I ordered 2 MXJOs 2500mAh 35A and made sure they had stickers. I'll be using a Viva Nova S BVC and Innokin 30s till next month. I'll have to wait til next month to get a better tank. I've been using the Innokin 30s since I started vapin' but the damn thing has a tendency to leak. I have actually had a better experience using a generic 1.5 ml BVC that I got from FastTech although I'm having no luck with the Aspire BVC replacement coils. I haven't really gotten into dripping although I have drippers and I've been building coils. I really would like to be able to fill and forget unless I have time to piddle. I'll update my experience with the M65 soon. I'm chompin' at the bit!!!

If you are getting into rebuilding, might I suggest a kayfun.

I have been using a cheap PMMA Kayfun Lite from FT and it is my goto for fill and forget. I bottom fill and get no leaks. I have an Orchid V4 on the way for higher power builds on the m50.

I really am peeved by this device - knew I should have waited for the iStick 50
Can't see nothing in daylight on the screen
Using my Billlow at 45 is still weaker then on my IPV mini at 30 !!
Not fully unusable, but by far, especially for current times, the worst reg device I have owned.

That's strange. Either something is wrong with my co-workers IPV or something is wrong with your M5. I can get a nice cloud with an Atlantis on 12 watts yet he needs at least 20 watts to produce a decent cloud using the same juice.

Well I'm updating my BT50 not for the extra power but for the fire from sleep fix and added pass through, those 2 features to me is worth the $14 shipping or whatever it is. :)

I would say my BT50 at 30 watts feels just about the same as my ipv3 at 30 watts both using a Atlantis. Also at 50 watts with a .3 dual coil build in my stillare they both feel just about the same too.

I got two of them from VapeNW. The one I got for me was already upgraded to the 65W version, which I don't actually care about since I'm running it around 27 watts with the Kanger Sub Mini, or 32 with the Delta 2 (until the wife stole it). The wifes, however, was not upgraded so is still at 50 watts. The part I did care about I got, and works well - mine now has pass through vaping. She is mildly upset that hers doesn't.

Only issue with mine is the firing button is really wobbly, and seems like it is about to pop on out at times. Just waiting for it to drop out so I can install the silicon button that came with it, once I figure out how.

So the Silicone one just squeezes into the hole? You don't have to take the thing apart to install it? That is cool, just seems kind of...slipshod. Now I'd worry about it coming out again.

Yes, that's right. You don't have to take the thing apart to install it. Small flathead works OK, good plyers might be better I did'nt have any
