Hi everyone,

I successfully quit smoking a couple of weeks ago and moved on to the wonderful world of vaping. I have been a hardcore smoker for almost 20 years, quit several times, failed, smoked, quit, failed....everybody knows what I´m talking.

I started with the Smoke51 Duo which is a 2 piece system: Battery and "cartomizer" - cart and vaporizer in 1 piece, disposable. That was a good start, but what got me off my analogs immediately was the 510 on the Chameleon battery mod.

Anyway, I still have dozens of filled cartomizers around, they are 13$ for 5 pieces, and I would like to use them occasionally. But the smoke51 batteries are just plain crap. The are expensive as hell (45$ for a tiny, little, cigarette size battery), they last an hour, they charge forever...not good.

So I was wondering if there is a manufacturer who makes more reliable batteries to attach the cartomizers? Or is there a thread existing to put on my 510 to use them?

I thought the KR808 batteries would work and asked V4L, and they said:

"Our batteries are compatible only with KR808 and 901 products. Please verify what product you have from Smoke51 before ordering."

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

LeCig sells the batteries for $16 and they are excellent. You have to watch the site though because they sell out quick. the code nuvapor gets you 10% off too!!! They call the batteries KR808D-2 :)

I love my 51 DUO and the smoke 51 cartoz...they rock for vapor!!! I'm vaping it as I write this. :D the code dsc-441 gets you 30% off!!!

I know Lecig is sold out of the D2 batteries :( Im waiting for a black one. However the D2 cartomizers will fit the Smoke51 duo. I recently saw that Nhaler has e9 batteries in stock but I have not personally purchased an e9 from them. It appears they only sell a kit not individual batteries.

Here is a photograph that I took of mine to show the difference between the models and a list of compatible brands. Sorry my camera is awful.
