Welcome to Smokecignals Official juice Thread!

Our first ECF contest is about to wrap up and this will be the thread for discussion of our Miraculous Aqueous Nicotine Solution, or MANS for short.

This will be a place for us to tell you about new juices that are being developed. The latest three that are expected to go live (depending on our contest winners thoughts and reviews) are:

Summer Sunday Truffle-A sweet vape of blackberries, cheesecake, and chocolate.

Category 5 Hurricane-Turkish Tobacco laced with black cherry and rum.

Tangerine Spearmint-Just like it sounds. This has been my daily vape since we came up with it!

These will be reviewed by the contest winners soon.

On the horizon:

Sweet Tea- No frills, just good ol' southern style sweet iced tea.

J&C- We thought about calling this one Jakakola (and still might). This is a blend of an American Classic Whiskey and an American Classic Soda. You even get some effervescence out of this one.

Chai- Creamy, spiced, goodness!

Horchata- Different creamy, spiced, goodness!

The first three will be on the site as early as next week with the other four not far behind.

If there's something else you'd like to see us try, please speak up. I love a challenge!

Other than these specialty flavors, we have 45 or so "Regular" flavors. Our top non-tobacco flavors are Black Cherry, Cinnamon Roll, and Chocolate Mint.

Visit smokecignals.com and have a look around! If you decide to try something we'd love it if you'd tell us about it here.

Just got home and received my package. Immediately, I'm impressed as it was sent priority-mail, leading me to believe that smokecignals is serious about gaining a solid reputation and is a sign of great customer service. Grabbed my ProVari, my i06 atty, 5.0v...and here we go with the first review:

Summer Sunday Truffle: The description sounded awesome. Blackberry, chocolate, and cheescake. It then passed the smell test. Very sweet berry smell. Upon inhale I get a strong blackberry taste. Upon exhale I get a mixture of light chocolate and cheesecake. It's all in there. Would like more cheesecake but I can still detect it. The chocolate is barely noticeable, and I feel it adds "bulk" to the blackberry(making it a chocolate dipped blackberry). I'm curious to know what the PG/VG ratio is as the juice seems a bit thin, which isn't a huge deal for me but I'm used to vaping VG heavy juices. To sum up, it's light, flavorful, and very sweet. Would consider ordering more of this. More reviews to come. Thanks Anthony!

I did receive my package today, but I had to go out right after. I'll need to clear my atty out and try these juices. I just wanted to post so I can find this thread a little easier. The Summer Sunday Truffle is the one I most look forward to so I'll likely be trying that first. Thanks again for the contest.

Zoo- the Mix on that juice is 60PG 40VG. That is our default. I plan on introducing an option for those who prefer a more custom mix.

Keith-Can't wait to read what you think.

One other note...Finally got the Key Lime Pie flavor to a mix that I think is perfect. It should be on the site soon!

Is there any way u would give a flavor description of your flavors either here or on your site? I always have a hard time picking if I don't at least have some idea of what the flavor is. Even flavors as simple as apple, is it red is it green? Is it candy type or real fruit? Not that I am asking about apple just giving an example.

Are u new to ecf? If so welcome! If not, nice to meet u!!

The site will be undergoing a HUGE makeover and should be updated within two weeks. There will be descriptions as well as leads to types of flavors such as tobacco flavors or fruit flavors or dessert flavors...you get the idea.

Basically smokecignals started as a low budget "hobby" that I shared with friends (the original site was not anything that anyone with any sense would have purchased anything from). I ended up getting some regular business (from people with no sense obv :p) that suggested that I take it a step further, and now it seems like it's time to dive into it full steam!

I'll work on cranking out flavor descriptions here for now. I need to get them all written for the site anyway. I'll try to start tonight!

I'm relatively new to ECF. I just lurked for a few months, and just started actively posting about a month ago.

So-Nice to meet you as well.

By request, here is a list of current flavors and descriptions. The website will soon also feature these descriptions.

Absinthe-The Green Fairy at it's finest wormwood and herbs, full flavored if anise, licorice, or fennel are not flavors that suit you, stay away.

Amaretto-Creamy almond liqueur.

Bacon!- Our bacon flavor is smokey and rich. You can almost feel the bacon on your tongue without the fat!

Banana-somewhat candied flavor but banana through and through.

Blackberry-Bold dark fruit, not overly sweet.

Blueberry-I find that this vape leaves you with a bit of a blueberry muffin sensation when exhaled through the nose.

Bourbon-The american classic whiskey. Can be a little harsh on it's own, if it's too much, try the Jakakola.

Butterscotch-Creamy and slightly sweet.

Buttered Popcorn-Somewhere in the middle of the movie theater and Ronald Reagan's favorite candy.

Caramel-Slightly smoky slightly sweet.

Caramel Cream-Same caramel flavor with cream added gives a great balance and mellows some of the smokiness.

Caramel Tobacco-Tobacco with a touch of caramel for a rounded flavor and nose.

Cheesecake-Simple and soft. Goes great with all of our fruit flavors.

Cherry Cola-Black cherry flavor(not candied at all) with cola. If you close your eyes you can feel the fizz!

Cherry-Natural black Cherry. Nothing added, just ripe fruit. (one of our top sellers)

Chocolate Mint-Refreshing mint with dark chocolate tones. Great dessert vape, but not too sweet.

Chocolate(Milk)-Creamy light chocolate that some people have said reminds them of hot cocoa.

Chocolate(Dark)-Full bodied and flavored chocolate. Not so much a candy flavor as a rich, nearly savory flavor.

Cinnamon Apple-Imagine a candied apple with a cinnamon kick. Somewhat sweet, and a little bitter.

Cinnamon Roll-Fresh out of the oven. I like this one with a little cream added to it. (you can request cream in comments for now)

Coffee-Straight up, medium roast, coffee. If you like it a certain way we can add cream or sweetner.

Cola-Refreshing, slightly bittersweet with hints of vanilla.

Cool-Menthol and fresh.

Dromedary-Think Joe or hump.

French Vanilla-smooth and rich vanilla flavor.

Green Apple-slightly bitter with some candied tones. Not too sweet. Tastes like a good bite with the bitter peel.

Gummi Bear-Just like your favorite chewy candies.

Hot Cinnamon-Another candy flavor you might even say they're red hot.

Irish Cream-Irish style liqueur that goes great with coffee or on it's own. We don't recommend putting this one one ice though.

Jakakola-American whiskey with cola. Feel the fizz!

Licorice-Rich and dark. Licorice flavor from the nose to the inhale and out again.

Mango-Not candied, natural mango. A recent review has described a hint of peach on the exhale.

Maple-Not overly sweet and ready for your pancakes.

Menthol Tobacco-Traditional tobacco flavor with menthol freshness.

Nupert-Strong tobacco with heavy menthol.

Peach-This vape is like a ripe summer peach, only thing is it won't drip down your arm.

Peppermint-Bright and fresh, this flavor reminds me of Christmas.

Pina Colada-It's a bummer not being able to drink at the office, but this one is boss friendly.

Raspberry-More like the berry and less like candy. Mild berry flavors that are slightly sweet.

Red-Phillip Morris USA sent me a cease and desist letter because they thought I was "misleading" their customers. The letter is here

Rum-Piracy is in full swing in the Caribbean. Thanks to this spirit sailors can sleep well at night.

Spearmint-Fresh and natural spearmint flavor.

Strawberry-slightly candied flavor, all strawberry.

Tangerine-If you love citrus flavors, this is for you. Yummy orangy goodness.

Tobacco-generic tobacco flavor.

Unflavored-just nicotine, no frills. Available in 6,12,18,24,36mg.

Vanilla Cream-Not quite vanilla ice cream, but quite delicious.

Wintergreen-Refreshing and clean. A soft mint with some sweetness.

The new flavors will have descriptions as they are available on the site. That went better than I expected. :)

While I'm posting about flavors. There was a contest that is going to decide if three flavors are going to make it to the site, aside from that there are flavors that are definitely coming soon.

Sweet Tea-Louisiana-style sweet tea. No lemon, just refreshing.

Lemonade-THE hot summer day drink of choice for Americans.
(with these two flavors it stands to reason that we'd also do)

Arnold Golfer-Sweet tea and Lemonade's son, Arnold.

Bananas Foster-Hints of cinnamon, and vanilla in a creamy banana base with caramel.

Chai-Black tea with clove, ginger, a drop of vanilla, and a touch of cream.

Horchata-Creamy vanilla and cinnamon vape.

Key Lime Pie-Distinct flavor of key limes with cream and vanilla.

As you can probably see, a lot of these flavors have lent to themselves. If that makes sense. The sweet tea and lemonade were obvious to get to Arnold Golfer. The tea flavor made me think of working out a chai flavor. The Chai flavor made me think of working out a horchata flavor and so on.

I'm constantly trying to develop new flavors. If you have ideas or wants, let me know. I'd love to try it out.

I've cooked all my life, and this, to me, is a lot like cooking. Figuring what flavors will blend well and working out new ideas.

The flavor that I'm working on tomorrow is the Lemon Basil that I talked about in the contest post. It might not sell well, but I'm pretty sure I'll like it :)

Thank u so much for taking the time to write the descriptions! I am sure it will be of a benefit for lots of members till u get them posted on the site. U have several that sound very intriguing to me! I am some what of a juice junkie (aren't we all, :) lol). I don't vape tobacco, coffee, or mint. I enjoy bakery, vannilas, creams and authentic fruit flavors. What would u suggest I try?

I still don't get what dromedary is tho

O and I am def interested in your chai and horchata!!! Love love love me some of both!!

Great to see u have a sense of humor, too, that will be a big asset around here!

Thanks again! :)

Bakery-wise: I love the cinnamon roll and just finished last night the Key Lime Pie (on the site now)

Fruit-wise: Like I said the Cherry is a top seller, though not on of my top personal flavors, I love the Mango and Blackberry.

Hoping to have the Chai and Horchata tested and online next week.

Dromedary that should give you more of an idea. Hint, it's a tobacco flavor too :)

Any ideas for another contest? Have any of the winner received their juice yet and spent enough time with them to give a review ? I would love to hear what ppl think of our new juice vendor! :)

I've kicked around some ideas for other contests, nothing set in stone yet.

All of the packages arrived on Monday. Hopefully we'll see some more reviews very soon.

Yes, my package arrived. So very excited to try out these new flavors. But doh, no fresh cartos. Well, they arrived today.

I always start with the one I am least excited about. I thought that would be the Tangerine Spearmint, but after waiting 2 days, it really intrigued me. So I started with the Category 5 Hurricane.

I have been going through lots of tobacco blends lately. Some were pretty good, but very few really grabbed me. Hence my lack of excitement for another tobacco-y flavor.

Boy was I wrong.

This stuff is excellent. Quite possibly the best thing I have had so far (then again, I have only tried about 40 or 50 juices from a variety of vendors). I loaded up a carto, slapped it on my old trusty eGo, and pressed the button of fate. I was in heaven. A perfect balance of earthy sweetness on top of a mellow tobacco. No single flavor element overpowers the others, and the all work together almost too darn well! Good TH and tons of vapor.

Another thing I noticed about this juice is that, unlike some flavors/juices, the taste does not fade away after the first few draws. I was getting used to having to switch out flavors to be able to taste them. This blend seems to be a perfect strength to allow you to get a taste of that awesomeness draw after draw. See, I just took another one and could still taste it!

I also sampled this on my box at a higher voltage, but it took away from the flavor so that didn't last long.

Anyway, I want to thank SmokeSignals.com for allowing me to sample this work of art. If the next 2 flavors are half as good as this one I will be flabbergasted. It might be a while before my next review, not sure if I can put C5H down until it is gone. I will order some of this once my reviewing days are over.

Contest Review #1 Category 5 Hurricane

I did not care for it to much i'm sorry to say. Reminds me of a bubble gum i tried once. The fruitiness over powers any other flavor that mite be hiding in there. And there is an after note to it that is a bit soapy to me. I'm sure many will like it but im not a fan. (Vaped it for 2 days, in a new Boge 3ohm cart from 4.2-5.2v)

Thanks again for the juices Anthony! Posted a review for the 'Summer Sunday Truffle', and I like it the most out of the three.
*tested in a IKV 2.5 Cannon atty, and an IKV 3.5 i06 atty on the Provari at 3.7, 5, and 6 volts. The sweet spot I find for most juices is right about 5V.
#2 - Tangerine Spearmint
A true spearmint flavor throughout with a hint of tangerine. Very true to it's name. This is spearmint at it's best! I normally don't vape fruity flavors, but this one is a really nice change of pace. I would order this if you like minty or fruity vapes.

#3 - Category 5 Hurricane
The only one I do not care for. This has a fruity/tobacco taste on the inhale, but I'm getting a bitter taste on the exhale. After multiple resistances on the ProVari, I've determined that it does taste like a bit "soapy" (not perfumey) on the exhale (as another reviewer stated). I'll definitely let this steep and go back to it to see if it gets rid of the aftertaste.

Guys, thanks for the reviews and honesty. It's funny the way taste works, isn't it? Two people didn't care for that one at all and one who thinks it's the bee's knees.

Still waiting to hear back from two more contest winners. Hopefully something will clear up on this. I wouldn't be surprised if I come out of this without Category 5 in the list, but have to keep a batch on hand for Kevin :)

Thanks again for the reviews so far and I look forward to reading more soon!
