Hey Guys, obviously im new on the forum, but not necessarily new to vaping. Just had bad experiences with products in the past so i kept going back to analogs, and now ive been vaping for over a week and a half on this Mistic Brand e cig, but flavors are limited and performance isnt as good as i hear these two companies are.

Heres the run down:
I want an electronic cigarette that looks like a cigarette and has a good variety of cartomizers (prefilled) to pick from, because i just dont feel like using the juices at this point (although i do have some rawr, and volcano brand juices in my room). Rawr juices are just too light on the flavor side of things anyway for me. But anyway back to the point I would really love to hear your opinions on which you think is better because you all obviously have more experience than i do! But i want to stick to my original point i really just selected these based off of reviews online and maybe there is a better one out there but i would really like whatever kit that you all think is best to have a good range of pre filleds, whether on their same website or another that fit the device!

If there already is a post on this just re direct me, but i really would like to just know opinions and past experiences with customer service etc!

Thats all i got guys, if you could help a newbie out id love any input.

I started with the Volt, and it worked well until I was ready for more advanced models. Smokeless Image recently expanded their available flavors, but I think they only offer pre-filled cartomizers for their basic flavor line (not bad in my opinion, I love their mint). They're also coming out with a variable voltage option in a few months. I haven't heard of the other brand you mentioned, but I've been out of the loop for starter kits since last summer.

It's important to know the threading of each of these models. I'm guessing that the Titan is 510, which most equipment seems to work with. The Volt is KR808d, which is more rare, but adapters are pretty cheap (like $3). Then again, if you want a cig-sized model, you might also want an automatic, which doesn't work with adapters (they block the necessary air-flow to trigger the atomizer, but work fine on manuals).

I hope I'm not giving you too much information at once. Basically, I like the Volt, but your options are limited to using mostly Smokeless Image products (which isn't bad). The Titan may be better suited to mixing and matching from various vendors, but I don't have any personal experience with them.

I've switched from using Volts with their cartomizers/clearomizers to using a Provari with Vivi Novas, but I still get some stuff from Smokeless Image because I feel they're a great company. They have their own forum here, and the folks are very nice. If you want to ask some questions directly, head on over to Smokeless Image .

*Edit*

Whoops, I didn't realize that Smokeless Image already came out with their variable voltage device. It's called the Spinner. It seems to be the Ego Twist, but with KR808d threading, so if you ever wanted to go more advanced, it looks like you can stick with the Volt products for quite a while.

I love how in a half hour i have responses, and i appreciate them all. StormLark the Titan is actually and 808d model, and as you say the volt is an 808d... i have read online it is a special type... and i have one question on that front. Does that mean the threading is different versus another companies 808d model or are they all the same? And based on the two of you only knowing/talking about the volt, im assuming it has a better reputation, glad to hear the carts are pretty tasty as well. No the manual battery point i do understand that and yes i would like to have automatic, maybe the passthrough i will get in manual though... and yes i love their forum and Vapor 4 Life also has a forum but i feel they might be a tad bias hahaha. Thank you for the responses!

You asked my opinion on what is better based on experience, I say the cigalikes are not worth wasting your money on. One month after starting them, you'll want something better. The best value for your money would be going with the larger eGo size batteries, and for a little bit more, adding the variable voltage feature with a eGo Twist or Spinner setup such as this:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/369128-what-kit-start-3.html#post8309522

The above setup will most likely satisfy you from the very beginning and has the potential for expansion to other juice delivery devices later on should you wish. The battery life with two of these batteries will last you the entire day, unlike the cigalikes which will last 3-4 hours each.

But, you want a cigalike, which I can understand because I was in that position when I first stopped smoking. If you must, Smokeless Image probably offers the best combination of quality gear and juice selection for the beginner's market. I would recommend a starters kit with at least two 78mm minibatteries, and get one of the larger X2 Spinner batteries to use at home to try variable voltage.

Just saying, 90% of people who vape move up to the eGo or larger batteries within a few months time. Just trying to save you some money in the beginning by going with a mid-level setup.

I didn't realize the Titan was also 808. All 808 equipment should be interchangeable, regardless of the company or model. You'll probably get more recommendations for the Volt, but I'm not sure if it's because they're a better model than the Titan or whether they just have a larger number of customers around here.

Baditude:as i said man all input is awesome, and i do see where your coming from and i also agree down the road i probably will be getting one of the bigger, better setups and tons of bottles of juice and loving every minute, but for right now im really going through the canceling out of cigarettes and transitioning to something similar in size and different in taste, and eventually as you say im sure ill make the transition, but everyone's gotta start somewhere and currently i need something similar to my friends smoking their marlboro 27's, not a bigger battery with an atomizer on it you know? But i definitely like the idea of getting a bigger battery type for the home front and thats something i havent even thought of, i was going to go passthrough only.
StormLark: Yeah i believe it is and ahh thats great news too because then any company (and theres multiple out there) that makes an 808d, i can try their carts!
