Volt is everything all the reviews say it is and more!!
My first experience with an e-cig was a convenient store brand.
While I thought it was terrible, it did intrigue me enough to do some research. After reading and watching dozens of reviews, I ordered a starter kit from another popular brand. The CS was OK, but I didn't like the taste and thought the vapor production was not as advertised, so I sent it back. So....back to the reviews. I ran across Smokeless Image, and was surprised of all the positive reviews. I ordered the standard kit, and have been using it for about four days. I love the taste and vapor production, and feel it lives up to the great reviews. I had a minor problem with a battery, and CS was quick to reply and resolve the problem.

Great e-cig, and great company!!

Hey-o! I just got my Volt today. I love it, but I had some issues with my order as well. Seeing as it's Friday, they still haven't gotten back to me. How long did it take them to get in touch with you?

Also, what flavors did you order? I'm digging the Med Cowboys, but I'm not sure if I'm sold on the Cappuccino flavor yet.:p

What kind of issue did you have? They do have a thread over here in the suppliers forum area. They will take care of you for sure.

Nothing too major, just shorted a carto pack and got the wrong color battery. I might hop over to their thread, but I don't want to seem like a pain. I'm thinking their customer service people must be out until Monday, so I'll give em a few days to respond to my ticket.

My initial order was the smooth sampler and the a pack of the "555". So far I like the Desert Joe the best. I just ordered some other flavors to try out. The "555's are pretty good too. Didn't care for the Ry4 though. One of my batteries started to act up, and I started a ticket. It took about 12 hours for a response. Their sending me a new battery, (no questions asked) and also gave me a 30% coupon cuz they didn't have the color I wanted. I'm really impressed so far. Seem to be a top notch place.

Heyas SeraBee,

How's this for customer service. Last Saturday, I placed an order with a vendor I hadn't dealt with before. Placed the order at about 8:30am. It wasn't a small order. About 50 - 75 items, although they were all low price, so totaled less than $120. By 10:30am, I had a call from the vendor. They were out of stock on two items I ordered (it said right on their web page that they were out of these two items, but sometimes my clicking finger gets ahead of my brain  ) and could they substitute like items. I said sure. By 12:30 it had shipped and I had my tracking number. All this, on a saturday morning, for a pita order to fill, with errors, for not a large sum of coin. I had the order in my greedy little hands on monday morning.

When the topic of customer service came up, I just couldn't resist recounting this story. I still have warm fuzzies over that order :D

That vendor is SO getting all my business in the future!

The following can all use each others cartos:

SmokelessImage, Bloogplanet, Halocigs G6, Vapor4Life (these all have prefills and blanks - V4L has the most flavors, I think the other 3 have slightly better cartos)

Plus you can use anything KR808D-1 from 2.5 to 3 ohms (Volt cartos are around 2.6 ohms - possibly Kanger hosizontal coil cartos, and I think V4L WOW cartos may be 2.5 ohms so both are at the hot end of KR8 stuff)

I use manual batteries only, and a couple of V4: WOW juices and other juices that are Pg with 20% or less VG, and I avoid all juices that seem to drop flavoring sediment in the stuffing (ruins drag, gunks up coil, shortens life of carto). I can get 7 days of moderate vaping out of one KR8 carto with the juices I use. Volt juices are also 80PG/20VG.

On a manual battery you can use a standard resistance DSE901 atomizer and drip tip (see LiteCigUSA.net) for testing juices and vaping any you like that are too thick for cartos.

I love my Volt system too. They were the first system I got and although I realized I needed to move on to something heavier duty and got my ego I still use my Volt, during breaks at work and when I want something more lower profile than an ego. I find their filled cartos to be very high quality and their flavors pure (no funky taste). I love the RY4 and grape. I used their RY4 as an every day vape still. I also had a battery go bad once and they took care of it for me super fast. I have warm fuzzies over them too lol. Good luck!

ok...call me dumb.....but ive heard this term, "drip tip" before. what exactly is it?

lol tchara,

I know how you feel. I ordered a driptip with my first online pv order, having no idea what it was for. But, it was only a couple bucks, and I kept seeing ppl talking about them. I felt lucky I ordered it once I had everything in my hands and could figure it out.

A driptip is basically just a mouthpiece that fits onto an atty in place of a cartridge. Whereas a cartridge has filler material, a driptip is just a mouthpiece with no filler, and a larger diameter hole. You use it to "drip". Dripping is when you put a few drops directly into the atty (or driptip), instead of filling a cart or carto with a larger volume of juice. You do this because one, it tends to give a cleaner taste than something with filler. And two, and more importantly for me, it allows you to try out new flavors without dedicating a cart or carto to it. If the flavor of a liquid isn't REALLY obnoxious, you just vape 'till its gone, grab the next bottle, drip a few drops, and go again. If it IS real bad, then all you have to do is rinse or clean the atty. btw, the larger hole (usually accompanied by a chamfer) is to allow you to drip the juice into the atty without removing the driptip.

Hope this helps,

I just wanted to update y'all on my customer service experience in case I scared anybody off of SI. I emailed them and they got back to me in less than 24 hours. I got a bright orange battery instead of the white one I wanted and didn't receive one of my carto packs when I originally got my package. Let me tell you, SI customer service is freakin' awesome. They said I could keep what I like to call the "pumpkin battery," and they mailed me out a replacement with the missing cartos with no shipping charges. It's rare to come across a company that is really on top of customer service, so I just wanted to share my experience with y'all.

Also after a day of vaping, I couldn't be happier with my Volt. It's really a miracle device for me. I still have a pack of smokes in my purse, but I haven't touched it since I got my order. :vapor::laugh:

NINJA EDIT: Also, I wanted to mention the battery life. I was really nervous about it after reading all kinds of posts urging people to go with eGos or bigger battery e-cigs. I used one Volt battery all day yesterday and it worked fine. I only put it in the charger when I went to bed. I thought they only lasted 2-4 hours, so maybe I just don't vape as much as others!

Great that you already found something you like :)

A word of caution though. You're bound to come across some juices that taste even worse than analogs. And once you put it in a carto, it's pretty much never coming out. I've heard of ppl washing out cartos and letting them dry to change the liquid they're using in them, but haven't tried it myself.
