I just purchased the smokestik and I have read that it is a rn4081...is that right? Because the cartomizers are fairly expensive and I am trying to save some money by buying some prefilled rn4081 cartos that are cheaper elsewhere. Are they compatible?

You can buy any RN4081 carts, filled or not, and they will fit. You'll save even more money by filling your own carts so you might want to order some juice. RN4081 carts, atomizers and batteries, from anyone, interchange. You're not limited to the SmokeStik branding.
BTW, my wife and I started vaping with SmokeStik and stayed with them for four months before changing styles. The RN4081 atomizer is a real workhorse and always did great for us. Good luck!
