I went to the local tobacco shop today, and they have a Smokestik. I did a search, but did not really find much about it.

So here is the question...

I am a little impatient, and would like my e-cig right away. I was going to order a 510 for ~$45, and this Smokestik is $80, although I can probably talk them down to $70.

Is it worth getting the Smokestik? Does it perform well? I know I will probably still order a 510 eventually, maybe even next week, but I would like to start vaping right away and get off the analogs, but I also dont want to buy something that is going to suck either.

Any thoughts please let me know.

If money isn't tight for you, go ahead with the SmokeStik. It was my first e-cig, and I still use it...switching back and forth between it and my 510. Even though the SS is an automatic, I think it performs fairly well. (I like an automatic when I don't want to be bothered with the manual switch on the 510). Do plan on ordering some eliquid though...the SS cartridges are very small. I've been refilling mine.

I also started with a SmokeStik and then moved to a 510. I don't really use the SS anymore. Right about the time I got my 510 the atomizer on the SS died and I ordered a new one which got lost in the mail twice. By the time I finally got the replacement I was hooked on the 510. I tried to SmokeStik again a few times but I like my 510 a lot better. One of my biggest complaints with the SS is that the way the cartridges are designed the liquid comes out very easy and gets in your mouth. Several people who tried mine had the same problem.

I really wish I would have waited and ordered one online rather than being impatient and buying a SS locally. I have about $140 into the starter kit and carts and I feel like it was mostly a waste.

Am I the only one that still sees the quality in the 801? Battery life, throat hit, big vapor, and a giant cartridge. I compare everything to the 801 and without powersticks or screwdrivers the 801 just works good. With powersticks and such the 801 is a vaping machine It will take something not made yet to get me to put down the 801
