I have a private website and network of people in London who would like to have an alternative to pubs, and the smoking restrictions. Both smokers who would like to be able to socialise indoors, and non smokers who don't have any issues with others smoking around them, indoors.
To facilitate this, my website has a forum and events diary to enable members, if and whenever they wish, to either invite other members to their home for a "pub night", or to see when other members have something arranged at their place, and ask to be invited. This can be on any basis, whether it be a party or just a social gathering.
It's like going to the pub as it was back in the days of normality, but with a difference. So, you can either have a few friends round to your place for drinks and invite a few members, or you can go out with your friends to a member's house with other members there and meet new people.
It is by invitation only. If you send me a private message I'll give you the link and you will be able to see for yourself.
