it comes down to the fact that s-e has a down and dirty buisness plan. the gold -aka 8041-aka a hole bunch of other names is a good product not great not the best but good. they know you have an unlimated on line resorce for info and products. so they push there starter kit at a high price on there sight or at the mall. they over sell its abilities to get you to make an ill informed desion. then let you fend for your self for servis and parts. its just how they go about making money. thats there objective and there good at it. they have gotin alot of us but we are trying to fix our mistakes hear and now. i almost paid 145 at the mall but went home to do reaserch first. i paid 55 on amizon for the same thing. then got other parts form other sights be for i found this forum. now i wont make those mistakes again. as with any new product or tecknoalagy theres a learnig curve. learn from your mistakes and move on

I 100% agree, however there is a big difference between over-hyping a product and charging far too much for it because they target uninformed customers and what they did to me.

I have moved on and am still thankful to my Florida based friend for bringing smoking-everywhere to my attention ... because without them, I would not have learned about vaping.

dito if i didnt stop at the stand at the mall last week to ask what the gimick was (they have a sigh saying $14 a carton) i would still be smoking analogs. the funny thing is i have not deen to the mall in years but i had no choice but to go there for a preasant but hey my wife says thats fate

I am on my second Gold White e-cig, Here is a tip I found out after sending this piece of crap back and getting it's twin brother in the mail three weeks late:
If you have the e-cig White, the white carts are to loose and will draw to much air and drip lots of juice in your mouth. If you put the bwon carts on they will fit snuggly and won't drip in your mouth every time you drag on it. You might even get 5-10 vapor hits off of it every 2 hours.

Since I was amongst the ranks of people who started with S-E without doing anyother research, I have chalked this up as a learning experience and eagerly await my JOYE 510

Also if (im sorry, when) you go through the return process with S-E make sure that you get some kind of confirmation mail service. The return lady at S-E, that it took me a week to get on the phone, was about to happily tell me that they never recieved my return package and would be unable to send me a replacement unti I informed her that I knew they recieved the package on 00/00/0000 at 00:00 a.m She quickly asked for a tracking number then put me on hold. After that she came back and grudgingly told me that they would send me a replacement.

The thing that really gets me about these guys, especially after reading these forums, is that they are in the business of ripping off people who are trying to stop a deadly habit. And for smoe, my self included this is a really hard thing and requires changes in lifestyle and attitude. You have to sike your self up. Then you run across these jerks because they are in the mall or they have spent all their advertising money making sure thier super awesome looking website is always the first one to come up on google, and you miss the wealth of real information about legitimate products and companies. By the time you find out you have have been ripped off you are smoking real cigarettes with a gusto that only true frustration can bring on, and you may have given up on the idea off quitting all together.

All of the suppliers on this site should band together and at the very least go on google adds and topple smoking everwhere's stranglehold on the search engine and bring the nervous and curious to this forum so they can make an informed decision.

The first site that I saw was Smoking Everywhere when I started to check out the whole PV thing. All I have to say is that I am SO HAPPY that I found this forum and found that there was better places to get a PV. SE charges way too much and I have heard that their products aren't too good!

The first time I heard about e-cigs, all I knew about was SE. I was very tempted to order one then, but life intervened and I got so busy at work that I didn't have time to order.

Now I am so glad, because once things calmed down a bit, I took the time to research a little more, and I won't be making that mistake!

I got into this via SE. Now I have a 510 from altsmoke.com and a big jug o' juice from Rocky Mountain Vapor.

figuring out the juice is my next step. I am so cynical about the whole thing I am afraid that I will run out of starter carts before I get my act together.
