Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Thanks as always for the update Sun.

No news is good news, at least for me. That leaves me one day closer to being able to do some serious stocking up on liquid.

Lotus--that is one thing that is in your and everyone else's control for now----Stock up. Hope you do not need it-------but have it. You can always use it anyway.

You know what's ironic about stocking up. Either way the ban goes, the merchants face a decline in business. Either the FDA will shut them down, or the green light is given and all the users quit buying because they already have more than a year of supplies stock piled.

A green light would be a bonanza for suppliers! There are 46 million cigarette smokers in America alone, and many of them have never heard of, much less tried, an electronic cigarette. If these devices had a regulatory green light -- there would be unlimited possibilities in getting smokers to try them, thanks to punitive taxation and public restrictions on use of tobacco products.

As Sun said, stock up. Green is a most unlikely color for the changing signal.

IMHO I think if the green light is given you will see alot more new vapers because people will sell of alot of their surplus to interested prospects. I don't think the merchants will take that big of a hit from the stocking up because this is an ever growing community.

I am SO sorry to hear that. I've been there before and completely understand the depression...mine lasted for what seemed like forever. Just don't resort to anti-depressants if you can avoid it. I had a nightmare experience with Effexor and have long-term effects three years later. Even cigarettes are better than Effexor IMO. Take care, and God bless.

Very sad to hear that Territoo. I really hope things take a turn for the better soon. Hang in there and remember that you have a lot of friends here that will be thinking of you, so let us know how you're doing.

    Sherid, Lotus,

Thanks for your concern. Actually I've had some level of depression and have been on some sort or another antidepressant for about 20 years now. During the calm times they help keep things calm, but times like now they seem worthless. Haven't had any real harm from them (excpect to pad BP's pockets), but they aren't a magic bullet by any means. :(

You'll benefit from the stockpile either way, because even if things go our way, the next item on the government's agenda is super-taxation. :p

I'm sorry for the issues you are going through. My first prescription was 1986 after losing my job while trying to quit smoking. I hope you are able to get back on your feet real soon. By the way I live on the east side of the Sabine River.

A green light is almost an impossibility. The Family Smoking and Prevention act gave the FDA authority to regulate PVs even if Judge Leon finds them to be tobacco products or "harm reduction products." The FDA has always had authority over drug/device combos. What else if left?

The best we can hope for IMHO is a yellow light. If the judge finds that PVs are a tobacco product, then the FDA will begin the process of establishing regulations. Then the fight will begin to keep the FDA from tightening the noose until the PVs legally available aren't worth vaping, or the price of admission just isn't worth it.

Despite all the gloom and doom, I remain quite hopeful that Judge Leon just isn't buying the FDA's argument that PVs are substantially different or more dangerous than tobacco cigarettes, which after all, are also drug delivery devices and effective ones at that.

    Away..
BP has made a killing on new customers while BT kills them off.
The problem if the FDA has their way, the not only will the nic and equipment be expensive, possibly require a script at first, the "approved" levels won't be high enough to help. So, they'll have the money and another failed product.
    History does repeat itself..........

Forgot this, they'll be creating another black market to try to stop with billions of dollars and maybe get 10%. They seem to be quite good at this.

I must be out of touch because I haven't run accross any cigarettes that are flavored. Maybe some pipe tobacco and e-cig juice but not cigarettes. I must need enlightenment.

Here is the crusade that will attract ASH:

The FDA encourages consumers to report continuing sales of flavored cigarettes through a special tobacco hotline

Looks like it's right down their alley.

Camel has several flavored cigarettes and menthol cigarettes are considered to be a mint flavor. Many cigars and pipe tobacco also have fruit flavoring. I am not sure if this will encompass smokeless tobacco but if it does companies like Skoal will be put right out of business. Also if ecigs are classified as a tobacco product then we will all need to brush up on our DIY mixing skills. This will certainly give the FDA more strength and does not look good for us.
