CDC 2017 NHIS finds record low 13.9% adult cigarette smoking rate (declining from 20.6% in 2009 when vaping began to skyrocket among smokers); but CDC didn’t issue a press release to announce the record low smoking rate, didn't release 2017 NHIS data on e-cigarette use, and still refuses to admit vaping has reduced cigarette smoking
