The clears are better. It has been found that you can take off the tube, take out and clean the stuffing, and put back together. The mouth piece is horrid, but drip tips or those flat rubber tips work fine.

I have already used 8 of the clear, and 8 of the metal (all but one still work). Both types work awesome!
