Smoktech DC Clearos

Has anybody tried the SmokTech DC Clearos on eGo batteries? I've got the 650maH and 1000maH batts. I've used LR attys on them before, but nothing with two coils. Think I'll fry a batt?

Not sure if just mine or not but when I tried using on my Ego 650mah it wouldn't fire I have 2 of them and wouldn't fire on either one but could be just mine.

Did they work on a different PV? Does your eGo still fire with attys or cartos? Just wondering if it's the batt or the clearos.

I had no problem with LR cartos or attys and no problem with reg cartos but for some reason just wouldnt fire on my ego, I put it on my buzzpro and worked fine so dunno whats up with that. I just assumed it was my ego being 650mah and not 1000mah or higher.

Could be. I'm thinking that (and I'm in no way an EE or anything) the two 1.5ohm coils end up pulling 3 ohms, which could be too much for the mosfets in the eGo.

I'll try out one on the 1000mah batt, and it doesn't work, I'll just save the clearos for a different PV I'll eventually get.

i've used the dc on a 650 ego batt, no issues. because it does pull addl amps, it will drain the batt faster of course. normally, i've got the dc (1.5ohm) running at 5.5v, and don't use an ego.

I use them on the KGO 1100mah batts from hoosier supply. Have been for several months with no problems...

Use the metal myself. Tried the clear smoktech but they start cracking at battery connector quickly.

I agree, the clear ones do crack (sometimes) at the base. But I really like them because I can see to fill them evenly with a syringe. So this benefit out weighs the fact that they do sometimes crack.

I use the metal DC cartos all of the time on my eGo, both 650 and 1000 mAh batteries no problems. They provide a really solid vaping experience for me on the eGo. I haven't tried the clearos yet but I included some in my latest order from Don so I will see how they work.

Really glad to hear that! I ordered some as well, and just got them today. Debating on whether or not to try some of the caramel cappucino in it, or some casa.

Did you try your Virginia yet, Ghost? I did a quick vape out of the mail and while I could have vaped on, I let it sit for only 3 or 4 more days. I thought that was plenty of time. It is delicious.
