I had two DC's running for the last week now, last night I pulled them both apart. I unrolled the filler, then ran the filler under hot water and cleaned the filler complete, I then took the carto coils attached and turned them under the hot water. padded dry the filler material on a towel, took the hairdryer and dried the coils and bottom of the carto completely. Rolled the filler tightly back around the coils and slid it back into the tube. I then did the same with the second Carto, refilled both with different juices and vaped away. I find this a nice option with these, I don't know how many times I will be able to get away with doing this but the filler being used is pretty good for longevity of use. They both had a very small burn mark on the inner wrapping blanket but it washed right off and was white again and spotless white when I was done and they looked new before I filled them. Today both are working like out of the box new. Pretty nice huh !
Was that with the regular or clear? I am wondering how hard that would be to do with the regular ones.

You say a small burn mark, but it washed? Sounds more like gummed juice gummed up. Burn wouldn't have washed out to my knowledge.

Did you try to dry burn the coils? Were the coils gunked up? And, again, were they the regular or clear ones?

How did pull out the fillers and coil? Aren't they connected at the bottom?
Wanna try this out myself and see if I can clean a few of my DC's as well.

Havnt tried to put any back together that I have cut up, haha. Price is so cheap, never seen the need too.
I have known of three people to take apart the clear duals, clean them and put them back into use. boB from KBV did it by accident. Brent from hoosierecigsupply did it. I can't remember the third, oh yeah, me.
Thanks to this thread I ordered some from Hoosier. These things are amazing. On an eGo they're great, on a high drain 3.7 they're fantastic! I wanted cartos for driving and atties for dripping the rest of the time. If I get a week out of these dual coils, though, they may become my all day vape.
Isn't it great to buy something and it actually kicks ...? Don't have to mod it, don't have to have a $200+ PV, things work great on everything ! No proprietary threads !!! Great to see so many happy people
hmm, i think you've got something there... IMR hi drain 14500's may be the ticket with these as the IMR's will get the most out of LR attys i believe.

I am trying my first one...set at 4.39 on a buzz. I am impressed so far. Better flavor than most cartos I have tried...I am really getting a nice throat hit set at this voltage. I will try it later on a regular ego type battery.
They are hit and miss on my GLV2 5v. Sometimes one will taste OK and others taste nasty. I can do exactly the same thing to the cartos, use the same juice, put in new batteries, draw on it the same way, and fill it the same (I fill from the bottom up using a syringe). For some reason more than 50% of these duals give me that nasty taste.
these are my all day vape. I'm on my second week with my 2nd one. I blow the brown juice out every other day and refill. Still goin strong. These things should have been available from day1 lol.
Yeah, but I kind of wish I would have found them before buying two and building six VV and 5V mods! Just kidding of course, one can never have to many gadgets.
