Your post convinced me to try these smoke tech cartos. Many thanks. Ordered them from Nhaler then found a great deal and stocked up from vaping zone. Because of your post, I no longer drip and can vape at 3.7 instead of 5 or 6v with more satisfaction, vapor and taste. If revolutionary is a word too often used, these dual coil LR cartos restore its legitimacy. WOW. Thanks again. :)

Your quite welcome! Great to see people happy and enjoying vaping. That much farther and farther away from cigs :)

Regulated voltage is controlled voltage.

Mods like the ego only push out 3.2 volts, because they are regulated down. That way they perform close to the same even when you have a fresh battery that is technically 4.2 volts. Keeps performance even as the battery drains. Unregulated PVs will hit harder and produce more vapor on a fresh charge and drop off till the battery is dead, big changes in performance.

I have been using for about 3 weeks the Boge LR (2.0 ohm) on my ego batteries with no problems and I really like them. I am interested in trying the 2.0 or 2.5 ohm dual carts. Just curious and want to try them but I am hesitant because I don't want to screw up my batteries. But I have been running the 2.0 ohm Boges with no problems. I have read not to go below 2.0 ohm with the ego batteries. Is anyone using the dual carts at 2.0 ohm or above on the ego battery?

You won't have any trouble with 2.0 ohm duals on any Ego, I think that's fair to say. I run 1.25 & 1.5's on mine with no issues, but I'm also using an SLB Ego clone at true 3.7v. I have some 2.0ohm duals I run on the Ego and at 5v and I like them on both depending on the juice at the time. 2.0 dual is going to be the same as 2.0 boge to the Ego, it doesn't care. I like the extra capacity of the dual coil cartos, and I like that I can run the 2.0ohm duals on the Ego or the 5v mod.

I like em over or equal to the Boge.
They do have a few QC issues with a few on occasion, but I gotta tell ya, when it's right, it's right.
Lot of vapor, and a good taste. One is finally giving up (tight draw) after 150-160 drops of juice in it, not including the initial 70 drop fill. For all I know, it might clean out and run fine again, but why bother for $2.00 each.

Using regular 510 batteries. One small and one larger. The smaller one is finally giving it up, after 6 weeks of use (as expected) and I don't worry since the batteries only cost me $9.95 ea.
The larger, I suspect will go much longer.
